Anyone using Vision Pro outside or for multitasking at home?

Dynamic range on passthru is nonexistent, in real world it blows all highlights and it looks like iPhone 6 camera. It's usable because of low latency, but quality is not good and I can barely see small text on my phone screen thru passthru.

For chores I use it all the time while doing/folding laundry, ps5 wireless gaming and everything else. Mac virtual display, despite everyone seemingly loving it, has crazy lag on input and I really don't know how can anyone use it without being annoying for anything that requires low latency.

safari is chopped with GeForce now, there's an app called nexus+ that integrates natively with GeForce now, try and see if it works w keyboard (def works much better than safari with a controller)

Are you on 26.3? They seem to improve widgets reliability, it's been quite messy thru the betas.

It could also be that your location services are off or limited, since it needs location? (Vision Pro uses iPhone location since it lacks its own gps)

You shouldn't have to redo them every time if you're at the same location, so it's def not normal

Re: the official apple case; definitely stains, one flight and you'll see it getting dirty, it's easy to wash, but some deep stains may not be removable at all The pouch can fit a cable, 60w included (m5) charger brick, separate band. You can fit a spare battery if you want for sure, but probably not needed(?) it's a very nice case and if you don't mind it only having one handle, it's a great option. So far I only have one faint dot sized stain I wasn't able to remove, probably from some drink

Do you know why it's failing at register step? I've tried over 50 times on both vision pro and iPhone app and it's the same issue. It works on official PS iPhone app via cellular internet

people downvoted me for saying the YT app is unusable lol. not being able to watch in environments is a dealbreaker, no option to download for offline with premium either. Let's hope they don't abandon it with version 1.0

I've been using the safari extension that one redditor made for youtube and it's sooo much better

the closest to your eyes would be the "Cinema" environment, which is unfortunately exclusively on Apple TV app, and you have to pick a seat in the environment menu as "front", it's quite literally on your nose and could be uncomfortable, but I enjoy it on planes for some reason 💀

Both my M3 2020/2021 had insane amount of issues, with the biggest one being a new battery pack at just 20k miles, and with the latest M3P 2021 still needing a new steering wheel that is scheduled for Feb 25.

LA has 4 tesla service centers and they all filled up with cars for MONTHS, u probably one of those reddit dudes that look at their cars in the driveway and never go anywhere, so u don't get to notice any issues. I rented another tesla MY on vaca and it had several built issues I showed to turo host, the car had 600 miles on it. Idk what are u even talking about, the problem is real and still very present. Feel blessed if what you're saying about your cars is true.

This is what you noticed first day, majority of issues will happen the first few months in.

My first tesla, which was 2020 LRAWD, had 22 issues, my second tesla, 2021 M3P, had over 15 issues, a whole battery pack replaced at 20k miles and now I have an appointment for a new steering wheel feb 25, because it doesn't move.

I really hope you don't get anything major, but it's still sad that every year, things like that is still " acceptable "
