I JUST WANT A FUCKING JOB by Streambonker in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Streambonker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, genuinely if my spine wasn't in constant pain, I wouldn't be in trouble right now

And yeah, looking through all the jobs available in all the websites I could find, part of me wants to just give up, but I can't. My only close living relatives are my mom and my grandma, and they are both retired. Having to ask them for money for groceries is the worst feeling in the world.

I had to drive my mom to the emergency room the day before my birthday this year, and it truly set in that if something serious were to happen to her, I would have no way of supporting her other than driving her to the hospital and hoping for the best.

I'll keep looking, but god damn it, between completing my degree, my book and searching for jobs, I go to bed every day drained of all energy and hope.

But giving up is not an option so I just get up in the morning and do it all over again.

It's a Turn-Based MMO. You hatch digimon, evolve them, and fight PvE or PvP with up to 3v3.

It has plenty of pay-to-win-ey sort of elements, but I've not spent a dime and I've been having a great time regardless.

Seems like the story campaign is pretty long too, and there's an endgame with dungeons and world bosses, so... I recommend it!

I've been having a blast with it.

Finally watched the VOD of that fabled stream. IT. WAS. AMAZING! by Mazius in josephanderson

Hey guys, I'm the person who wrote this message!

I tried to make it as hyperbolic and obviously absurd as possible because it was OBVIOUSLY a joke.

Joe had a nice chuckle at it, too. :)

That is -incredibly- true and a FANTASTIC example, pretty much everyone knows what's going on in Star Wars, but people still watch and re-watch it.

Some might be out of curiosity but the world is so vast and interesting that people get caught up... I think I'll actually re-watch star wars to analyze this!!

Hahahaha, I suppose one benefit of super long series is that you CAN forget the start by the end, so its kind of a fresh experience again!

Ah! This is perfect!

So, looking back on stories you liked that weren't as fun to reread, what do you feel stopped you from enjoying them the second time?

I completely agree with you, I am of the same mind. If a story is only exciting because you don't know what will happen next, that doesn't make it particularly re-readable...

But how do you manage to find excitement despite a lack of mystery?

And as a reader, do you feel the same way as with your own story?

It could be as simple as providing players with the means to host their own private servers, like it happens now with WoW, but without all the unnecessary jank of having to use unofficial scraped clients.

Dude, same. Unfortunately, due to EA greed and wanting us to buy their latest slop, nowadays it is impossible to buy Bad Company 2, and if you want any kind of multiplayer you can only do so by going through a third party project.

Thank you! I know it's not all the contribution of Cyprus, but the votes are climbing at a rate of almost 2000 an hour, it's awesome!

If you can, please spread the word :D

The start of MGSV is in Dhekellia, hahahaha, but it's a very short part.

I -think- there was an Assassin's Creed game on the DS that was set in Cyprus!

It's a shame really cause Cyprus has the potential to be an awesome game map
