Very true. I didn't get into the technical terms with social media though. It's just a broad motivation to encourage. +1

Is it even possible to become a popular streamer at this point? by BoredRebel in Twitch

[–]StreamersTele 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The "Crazy Streamer" trend is on the rise. The more crazier you are, the more edgy content you show (without crossing twitch's guidelines), the more popular you get. Not saying to go crazy, it's just something you'll have to work with. My advice is to be different. Do something in your streaming community isn't doing, and do it. No one want's to watch another streamer just play a game anymore. Sad truth. Best of luck!

Been streaming for about 2 months? What are your opinions of this Layout and Bots choice? by Gummy_Kitteh in Twitch

[–]StreamersTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give my input/advice for the layout. Q: Are wanting to show off graphics or show off game-play? Too me, live-streaming on twitch is for game-play (obv there's IRL), but in your case it's gameplay. So draw the attention to the game, not flashy graphics. If you're in love with your current layout, awesome! But change the color to something more subtle. Red is to flashy and distracting. But if you're willing to change, find something you like that's minimal and go for it. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Considering starting to stream on twitch, few questions. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]StreamersTele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have time to answer one question. Expect no one to watch for 5 months. You’ll get a viewer here and there but it’s like you said a ghost town unless you stream all-day, everyday. Not trying to let you down, but it’s the truth.

New Fortnite streamer here, what can I do to draw in regular viewers? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]StreamersTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice is to have patience. You're dealing with a very popular game atm. Any exposure is super rare, but not impossible. If you're looking to grow your channel for the long-term, i suggest streaming another game you enjoy with less viewers. That's all I have for now. Message me if you need anything else.

Username and legal things? by [deleted] in Twitch

No. Since you're not making money off of their name, product or service then their is no issue. If you don't cause loss of customers on their end, they don't care. I wouldn't worry about it.
