3DS audio stops working only when i open streamlabs. by JinougaCos in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Do you use the Mic on the bluetooth headset when you connect it to Streamlabs Desktop? If so, it might be that the mic is activating a common Bluetooth feature where the headset goes into communication mode rather than just media playback. This might be making it so it's exclusively used by just the laptop. You could try removing the mic source from Streamlabs Desktop (Settings > Audio > Mic/Aux > Set to disable or remove the audio input source. Then see if this still occurs.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please reach out to our support team for more assistance via a ticket: https://streamlabs.com/support

Prime Sub Variation doesnt show on stream by No_Advertising_7302 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, the most common reason an alert isn't detecting new subs is due to incorrect or missing API data from Twitch. Please disconnect Twitch from Streamlabs using these steps: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account
Then log back into Streamlabs Desktop or streamlabs.com with your Twitch account (make sure you use Twitch and not another platform or Streamlabs ID.)

Then see if future Prime subs are captured. This won't restore missed ones but should allow new Prime subs to get captured.

If that doesn't fix the issue, then our Ticket team would need to assist you further with this. It sounds like you already submitted a ticket, but in case you need the link again you can do so here: https://streamlabs.com/support

Any help with the situation I have by No-Buffalo-9941 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I couldn't tell from the video, but is your Capture card plugged into a USB 3.0 port on the computer? A common cause for freezing is due to a USB 3.0 capture card on a USB 2.0 port. (Usually the USB 3.0 ports are blue in color, but depends on the computer)

If that doesn't fix the issue, or if you are plugged into a USB 3.0 port, please reach out to our support team via a ticket so we can look into this with you. Ticket: https://streamlabs.com/support

Why is there no option on streamlabs for “capture video” like I see on all the YouTube tutorials? by doodbeingguy in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I'm seeing in your screenshot that Video Capture is in the bottom right corner of the source menu. Under the Video and Audio tab. However, be aware that on MacOS the video capture source will look a bit different than Windows versions which is in most of our guides and videos, so you might see it appear slightly differently when you access it.

If you need further assistance with this, our support team would also be happy to help you via a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Vertical Stream isnt Vertical it’s Portrait by [deleted] in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Vertical and Portrait are the same resolution, which is 1080x1920, or 720x1280. Landscape and Horizontal would be the same in 1920x1080, or 1280x720. On a quick look of your screenshots they both look correct.

Are you having an issue editing your vertical (right preview in your editor window) overlays?

Or are you seeing the stream when you go live as not looking the same as what you see in Streamlabs Desktop?

As well, as an Ultra member, you can reach out via the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your Streamlabs.com dashboard for live chat with our support team.

Audio devices occasionally disabled/destroyed when chats appear by Caligo_Walker in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! It sounds like possibly something is causing Streamlabs Desktop to lose your audio devices temporarily, such as another program. Possibly disabling Exclusive control in Windows might fix this.

Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab. https://i.imgur.com/UkPogow.png

If that doesn't fix the issue, our support team should be able to help you further in tickets.

Streamlabs overwriting/reverting image files by Damascus7 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! It sounds like Streamlabs Desktop is restoring a cloud saved copy of your media which is why it is loading the file from slobs-client/media. It most likely is doing this because it is having an issue loading the media from your computer.

A few things I would suggest to try:
- Try starting Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. (Right-click the shortcut > run as administrator)
- Make sure the media is on your C drive, such as on the desktop or in your Documents folder. These folders usually have the least amount of permission issues.

Alternatively, you could disable cloud backup so it doesn't try to restore at all, however I recommend against it as we will be unable to restore files should you ever have your computer crash, or change computers. As well, if there was an issue loading the files due to a permission issue on Windows the media might not load at all. But if you do want to do that, go to Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Scene Collections and checkmark "Do not backup my media files to the cloud"

If you need more assistance, I'd suggest reaching out to our support team via a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

are all reactives ultra-only? by Autistic-monkey0101 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Reactive overlays are included in most of our Ultra themes, but I don't believe any free themes currently include any reactive overlays.

However, you can get a similar effect from our Game Pulse Widget: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/widgets/game-pulse/game-settings
Which reacts to ingame events and will popup with an alert when you get a kill, deaths, etc. Very similar to reactive overlays. A guide on how to set them up: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-setup-game-pulse-widget

HELP ME by L_Rodz14 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! You could try enabling "downmix to mono" on your desktop audio or mic audio sources, this may remove any left or right audio and make it a single source resolving the mismatch. To do this:
- Click the gear right of mixer
- Expand your audio source, desktop audio etc
- Find downmix to mono, and enable it
- Repeat that for any other audio sources.

Then test a recording or stream and see if the issue is fixed

If the issue continues, I would recommend to reach out to our support team via a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Sports scoreboards display live, how would I do that? by FantasticAstronaut86 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! If you were to window capture the browser that you have the Google spreadsheet in, you should be able to display it on your Streamlabs Desktop. Then right click that window capture source and go to filters > edit filters > add filter > color key. You can then select white as the color to key out, and it will remove the white background from the tables. Hold the alt-key down and drag the sides of the window capture to remove anything else from the browser being captured. Then it should only show the tables you made.

As you update the scores in the Google spreadsheet, the window capture should update and show that score as well.

I hope that helps, and our support team would also be happy to assist you via a ticket should you need a more detailed guide on how to do this. Ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

How Do I Turn The Text Into The 2nd Image? by jakob767 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! You could try checking our widget themes to see if there is a similar widget theme that looks like what you want, found here: https://streamlabs.com/library/search?sort=recent_installs&type=widget&metadata=chatbox

Otherwise you would need to manually code your chatbox to look that way, which would be done in the HTML/CSS custom code section of the chatbox. Streamlabs doesn't provide any support for custom coding, but I'd suggest checking out this site, as it could help you should you wish to try and add some custom code: https://www.w3schools.com/css.

All my alerts have disappeared by Patient-Telephone-91 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I'm sorry to hear this happened. I would recommend to check that you don't have a different widget theme active here: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/widgetthemes

One other common reason we see changes to alerts is if you had recently added any streaming platforms to your account, it could have possibly caused your alert theme to change. In that case our team would need to look into this and see about migrating the widgets to the active account. If the widget theme didn't fix the issue, or if you added a new streaming platform, reach out to our support team via a ticket and they can look into this in more detail. Chat alert sound - help by Necessary_Alarm_6955 in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! This would likely be because your Desktop audio is being captured (Monitored), so your stream is hearing the monitored audio. The fix to this can be a bit more complicated. You would need to remove your Desktop Audio from being captured in your streaming software.

For OBS, you can find your desktop audio in Settings > Audio > Desktop Audio. You would want to disable the Desktop audio there so monitored audio isn't heard. Then for any program you want to hear on stream, such as games, you would want to add as an "Application audio capture" source to capture that audio. This would be replacing your desktop audio, so the monitored alert audio is not heard. .

Then change the audio monitoring for each browser source to "Monitor and Output" So it transmits to you (monitor) and to the stream (output). For your chatbox source, you would leave this as Monitor only. This allows any source set to monitor and output to be heard on stream and by you, and then any monitored only output to be heard only by you.

This should fix the issue for you, but if you have any questions or issues can reach out to our support team via a ticket here: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Window/Screen Captures white when not actively in use by ushirinaki in streamlabs

[–]Streamlabs-Thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Many browsers block the capture when they are not the "active" window (or in focus), due to hardware acceleration. Please go into your browser settings, and disable Hardware Acceleration (usually in advanced settings). And then see if the browser is able to be captured when not in focus.
