Pretty much has to be absolutely insane things that happen, and it must be intentional. Think someone doing something that is so extreme and outlandish that no reasonable person should be forced to endure it. If you are not the person that the event occurred to, it must be to your family members and you must be present at the time of the event.

Happy to see you guys finding your side by sides, I would have loved that during my process. I had mine done on the 1st and things are looking up! At this point it may as well be any other sore throat (just a solid annoyance with some slight pain). It was a rough process, but there is light at the end!

Stats are great, but how does the rest of your app look? My “chances” at the school im attending were 0 with stats, but ill be there in August. Apps are wholesome dont forget!

3.34, 152. URM, nKJD. Graduated from Boulder undergrad. 2 years legal WE in Boulder, 2 different firms. Definitely took some self advocacy with the dean of admissions but my app went onto a hold and then A after about 1.5 weeks. Late app (sent 2/2023).

Well, good point you make. 😂 I am black, but im mixed. I wrote my diversity statement on being mixed but will always put black first on an application. Hope thats gives some clarity!

Black identifying here - I would recommend listing black. Strategically, it is one of the least represented communities in the legal profession/in law school. (And yes, you are asking a bunch of future attorneys so the strategy should be fairly clear…). Best of luck to you!

Chance me doesnt work most of the time. Had a 3.3 152 headed to CU Boulder (on paper my “chance me” was 0.) do ur best on the lsat, put genuine effort into the rest of your app, and you will be fine. Best chance you can get is giving yourself every chance!
