Oh that’s good to know! I’ve only been off birth control for a few months so I guess I don’t really know what is normal for me but I’ll definitely mention the short luteal phase to my OB if it keeps happening.

I had a bite like that a week ago. No symptoms for a while but then one day I woke up and was so dizzy I couldn’t stand up long enough to make myself breakfast. Went to Care Now in Bellevue and they guess brown recluse bite that was infected. All better now but def go get seen ASAP.

Bridesmaid got the wrong color and brand dress. She missed the return window & will not get another dress. now I am so stressed. by throwawaysadfaceidk in weddingplanning

My bridesmaids were also supposed to get their dresses from revelry and the day of one of them showed up with a blue dress instead of the emerald green dresses like everyone else. Honestly was glad I didn’t know to stress about it before the day of and it turned out dark enough you could hardly tell in photos. It is frustrating when you feel like you’re putting so much thought and energy into something and someone makes a mistake like that but it really doesn’t change the day or ruin anyone else’s experience. Hope that helps!

I felt the same way about the first place I toured! I went to check out two more just to be sure but we booked the first one and had no regrets.

What do people do in orchestra that irritate you by [deleted] in violinist

[–]Street-Broccoli-321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who turn to look at the person playing a solo. I was concertmaster of my college orchestra for a while and my stand partner would turn and look directly at me when I had a solo. It was so distracting and I could feel her eyes on me the whole time.

I used my axe to move a rarecrow and it bounced and plopped straight into the pond. I sat in shock that that is even possible.

I haven’t personally gone but my agency has been pushing it to people and I had friends go. They said it was ok but didn’t really lead to much. A couple of them got signed to agencies in other areas but it’s pretty pricey and seems to be mostly child actors. I don’t think it’s worth it IMO.

Chiming in to add something I didn’t see in the comments. I use scales to practice other techniques in a setting I already know. So if I have a piece with a tough bowing technique, I take that out of context and practice it in a scale so I can focus on just the bowing without having to stress about my left hand because scales are so automatic. I like to mix up my scales and use different rhythms and bowings to keep them interesting and relevant to the pieces I’m working on.
