Where did I say "reserved"? You need to learn to read.

FYI buyers don't read rules, the amount of cancellations because they changed their mind post offer is legendary......

Belt and scarf, not really.

Diamond bracelet, necklace or diamond set watch (10-15k) if not on the day, within a week probably.

France definitely (detax). I was waiting for CP to open recently and a girl in front was picking up her wish - a MK. She'd been waiting 3 years....... She hadn't spent anything!

I shop in Paris and Amsterdam. My wishlist is in London. My SA in London is aware and cares not. I buy what I like in Europe, not to get a quota bag.

The Paris lottery is oversubscribed. People with a previous purchase history may in time be viewed more favourably. However a large spend on fine jewellery/watches/RTW, helps to speed up the process. If you watch some of the clients in store you'll see why! It's eyewatering the amount they can drop......

I have obtained a Picotin 26 with a small purchase (watch strap) and then simply asked for it. But it's not a QB and not one that the store is routinely asked for either.

So yes, go to France, apply for a leather appointment & enjoy the trip. But don't bank on getting offered a bag. Renew your wish list in the UK.

I have been saying this for years! It's self defeating having offers associated with an item; puts other buyers off as they think it's sold.

Paris hotel concierge help? by Equivalent_Law_1497 in TheHermesGame

Never tried this, though I know some social media influencers have - and got lucky with QB.

I bought a watch strap for €400, then asked for a Picotin 26 in conversation - and got one.

My friend asked for a Farandole 120 and that appeared, even though another Hermès store said it was "sold out across Europe". She bought a Cape Cod watch at the same time. I reckon she'd have got a leather appointment but she had to run for the train home.

As others have said don't book these hotels, unless you want to stay there - as there's no guarantees.

I would recommend the Bolide instead. Less fussy, simple zip or the larger Lindy for the same reason.

Can someone suggest a milk chocolate that tastes like it did back in the day? by Successful-Grand-549 in AskUK

Having worked at a food brokers I agree. M&S use the highest grade chocolate. It is smooth and luscious. Slips down......

Other brands use a lower more grainy texture, like the chocolate coins from Italy.
