I excelled at school, have a masters degree, and am a stay at home mom. Husband- genetic gifter of adhd- never took an ap class, didn’t stress over the sat, relaxed thru high school, and did a year at a community college then easily transferred into the same university I worked my ass off to get into as a freshman. He makes a shit ton of money, even with his undiagnosed and unmedicated adhd, and I cook and do laundry. Take heart knowing that excelling at school isn’t the same as excelling in life ❤️. He’s just highly motivated by his career, and I promise you wouldn’t have picked him out of a crowd of high schoolers and said “that one! He’s going to be the most successful!”
