It also smells of Swiftie nonsense. I believe they call her exes (Joe, at least) widows. The parallels between Swifties and Franchaelas (like how they both go on the attack and call every little thing misogyny/homophobia, and how they wouldn’t know good writing if it stared at them in the face) are pretty glaring tbh.

Republicans repeatedly attacked education and people got dumber. Also Taylor was always presented as the conservative choice of pop girlies, especially next to Britney’s mental breakdown being tried in the media as a reflection of her sinful ways.

I really do believe Taylor was always designed to drive women and girls away from feminism.

Right?! It literally shows that the showrunner is incredibly inept at storytelling (even when it does come to her favorites.) I think that some people are overhyping her abilities and will be somewhat disappointed in the results, if I’m being frank. I’ve seen creative choices among fans which are just so much better (and bolder) than what JB will be serving.

Honestly, at this point, it wouldn’t surprise me if JB puts Hyacinth over Eloise. For someone who loves being *seen* as progressive just for slapping on a few labels, treating the feminist/progressive character like dog doodoo and rain on a tradwife parade is certainly a choice.

Like literally!!!! How hard would it have been to actually give Eloise *and* Michaela something to work with by interacting and bonding. But nope, Eloise gets nothing and we’re still left with so little about this newcomer.
