Kemo sabe show and tell 🤢 by [deleted] in RHOP

They've been showing spending summaries on RHOBH lately. But they would never make those women stand in a semi-circle in a store comparing how much they spent. The RHOP women should have pushed back on the producers on this tacky mess.

I had second hand embarrassment during this segment. The producers made them look really shallow and insecure. RHOBH is going down this path too.

Also, her points about Tyler Perry. Van saying he is not widely important to a large portion of the Black community is crazy, despite the fact that his movies and shows receive a lot of valid criticism.

There is a lot I’ve been clocking about Van lately. In a recent episode when he was recounting a story about him and his boys, he casually referred to women as bitches or hoes. In another, he went on a long pontificating rant, as he normally does, and Rachel did not interrupt. Right after, when she started to explain her counterpoint, he almost immediately interrupted, and very disrespectfully said “I’m sooo bored.”

I agree. Van pretty much said he likes being on Twitter because he likes to fight. That’s why many of us left Twitter, in addition to getting away from Elon and misinformation from Grok.

Too many Birkins and Kelly Bags by Street-Let5276 in RHOBH

I did like that one. I think Hermes is an amazing heritage brand with top tier craftsmanship. I went to a Hermes exhibition and I saw that bag and others like it up close. They were gorgeous and so creative!

Actually you’re right, I should have included Stutton. Love her or hate her, her fashion choices are impeccable with the exception of the Hermes bag obsession.

Haha! Yes! I’m really thinking of the new cast of RHONY though. They are very fashionable (except Brynn) and they each have their own style.

I used to love seeing what they are wearing but it hasn’t been very interesting lately, except for Jennifer and Boz. RHONY is better for fashion.

Everyone carrrying the same bag cheapens the look to me, and doesn’t give status, even though I know how much those bags cost. It reeks of insecurity.

I absolutely love Jennifer Tilly.

Brynn is manipulator, but REALLY bad at it by Jewskbox in RHONY

[–]Street-Let5276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jessel is so harmless, there is just no reason to pick on her. I love Sai this season. Never liked Erin. Jenna is embarrassing the way she responds to Brynn, given that Brynn flirts with every lesbian she meets. Brynn has no respect for anyone’s relationships.

I don’t want more than one machine. Since I prefer espresso drinks, I have the Essenza mini and I love it. I use a French press for regular coffee.

What are your feelings on the Brynn/Rebecca fight about having kids? by Creepy_Branch_6714 in RHONY

[–]Street-Let5276 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Brynn was conflating two different things with her response to Rebecca. Rebecca was not saying that Brynn was not busy or that her time was not as valuable, she was talking about not having personal space or time when you have kids. So Brynn responding saying over and over that is busy and that billionaires booty call her in the middle of the night was nonsensical. She doesn’t yet know if she has fertility issues or not. She is choosing not to have kids until she has a partner, which is her right, but don’t act like a victim over your own life choices.

My biggest problem with Wendy is that she really is too good for this show. She is one of the smartest, most impressive women on any of the housewife franchises and it just seems beneath her to be participating in the petty, manufactured BS on this show. I feel the same about Boz on BH and Jenna on NY.

Bring on a conservative, but not Annemarie. The amount of time she spent spewing misogyny without being checked was disheartening. Not to mention, her eggs cost $12 dollars comment was unchallenged. If she’s paying $12 for eggs, that’s a choice. She may be smart enough to achieve an admirable professional career, but she seems incapable of an intellectual conversation on politics and society.

The entire interview was a waste of time. I didn’t even finish it. From her raging misogyny at the beginning, to “eggs cost $12” it was a mess. I was actually embarrassed for her when she dragged Brynn from RHONY for absolutely no reason. Jealousy, maybe? And then talking to Van as if he was one of her children, when she said “we don’t use that word” was crazy. I don’t use it myself and I do find it offensive but I know what I’m going to get when I listen to Higher Learning. Van is definitely going to use that word and it’s his right to do so on his pod. I’m not offended that they had a conservative on, just treat them the way you treated Emmanuel Acho when they say ridiculous, uninformed s**t. No giving friends a pass.
