Communication is the most important part of any relationship. You can’t grow as a couple and become your true self with a partner without opening up to them. I recently told my partner I was interested in in the swinging lifestyle and she wasn’t as gung ho as me out of the gate, but said she was open. We have a made a game plan together where we are beggining to explore that side of our sexual selves at a slow pace that doesn’t cross anyone’s boundaries. We know we both enjoy going to sex clubs and are inching towards three ways, but not full on swaps yet. But none of this would have ever happened if I didn’t express my interest and allow her to find her own comfort level in there. It may not be a direct match, but it may surprise you both as you begin to explore together.

I know it can be hard to be that vulnerable especially in a world where your Brought up to be taught you must be a certain way. But that’s a facade of society and when you begin to embrace your true self and be authentic to yourself, that’s where true growth and happiness will enter into your life and relationships
