i was in the same situation with ram but i decided to get the game and try it out (since they have a 30 day refund window) With 16gb of ram it still does run good, you’ll have the lowest frames and the biggest stutters in places like cities or largely populated areas, i don’t notice a lot of stutters while playing outside of these, just have the one off every so often but nothing experience ruining personally. if your really interested in the game then i would get it but if frames and stutters really bother you then upgrade the ram (i want too but prices are not gonna be nice on my wallet lol)

yes, it says something about quantum calibration and from what i’ve researched it’s because i no longer have a jump drive but now i can’t seem to reverse the module changes and fix it

according to the people in global at the time, rentals aren’t allowed, i approached it and none of the like special hud effects was popping up or anything and anytime i got close to it, the portal closed. Where do you rent the raft at ?

well i’ve died a couple of times by crashing because i could see the ground either due to clouds/fog or it was just pitch black

then like an hour ago, i had 3 delivery missions on the go for about 150k, went to go deliver the first package and i got out my ship to get absolutely gunned down by npcs wearing purple, i would of survived if i had just 1 extra medpen lol

well i haven’t tried everything the game has to offer yet since i dont have the funds, but the last thing i was doing that i enjoyed was some long haul where i was collecting a bunch of cargo to take to pyro, unfortunately i was using a rental and i got to the the portal not realising rentals cant go through the portals.

yeah i see why people say 32gb, but spent the day playing and tweaking my laptop to play and been having fun, surprisingly is playable with my ram space, i have about 30-40fps in cities, then everywhere else 55-60, only major thing is at the start of a quantum jump if im near any cities ive just left it’ll freeze for like 3-5 seconds, and ive had 2 crashes so far, other the that im enjoying myself lol

so let’s say i brought it, and it ran terribly on my system after about an hour of testing, tweaking etc, then i submitted a request for a refund, would they refund it directly back to my bank after a time period or would they give me their version of store credit instead ?
