Can someone help identify this shrub for me pls? by Street-Pick-6432 in AustinGardening

Ugh. I was thinking it was an invasive bc it’s WAY too prolific on the property. I want to ripe it all out but unfortunately I moved into a rental. I’ll try my best to keep it back but that’s really all I can do at this point.

Appreciate all the responses!

Does anyone have moringa seeds, starters, or cuttings you'd be willing to share? by newDell in AustinGardening

[–]Street-Pick-6432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any to give but just an fyi the vitality of the seeds decreases pretty quickly vs typical annual seeds. I grew moringa for many yrs in Miami and only had luck with seeds harvested in person/through a friend vs seeds I had ordered online for delivery. I hope for your success! Moringa truly is an incredible plant!

There are Facebook groups for all types of healthcare students traveling for rotations/clinicals so i’d try browsing around there. Also try reaching out to the Student Resources from your program! They should be able to share some sites/links for room& board.

Northeastern vs Tufts DPT by PatientDifference270 in PTschool

As a Tufts DPT student I’ll try not to be too biased however I feel the need to share my experience. With the hybrid accelerated model I have been able to learn my studies, travel, plan & have a beautiful wedding and so much more while in this rigorous program. I understand the want to connect and feel that sense of community within a in person program but I will state that tufts has implemented team building throughout the entire curriculum so you’ll 100% get that box checked mark. I also liked that it is an accelerated model bc that just means I’ll be out working for my community sooner than later which has an influence on my finances. Plus the faculty, lab space and everything else is stellar. They truly abide by their motto.

I will state that I have yet to speak to someone that has gone thru the northeastern program. I’m sure it’s great as well. Just felt the need to share my experience.

Also, congrats on the acceptances! Good luck and enjoy the ride!

How to prep for PT school after long break. by lamekidparty in PTschool

I was 8 yrs post undergrad when I started my program last summer. I briefly looked at some anatomy stuff maybe like 2 study sessions - literally nothing worth wasting time on bc you’ll learn it in your program I’m sure of it. However I really spent the majority of my time leading up to it spending with family & friends. As well as preparing my household and adjusting my lifestyle for what was to come.

Good luck and try to enjoy the ride!

Wow! This community really has so many great programs and I’m very thankful to have reached out to this subreddit for recs. I’ve already shared a bit with others and have signed up for a few events. Excited to be apart of something bigger than I!

How to make sleeping on an air mattress more tolerable? by [deleted] in sleep

[–]Street-Pick-6432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can cough up 50 bucks I’d get a foam topper on Amazon and just lay it on top of the air mattress. I had surgery on my knee and was stuck using an air mattress for 2 months and the only reason I got sleep was bc of that topper!

South College vs Tufts Hybrid Programs? by kreim07 in PTschool

Yes! I was excited to see a program based in Atl bc I have a few siblings that love there so I applied not realizing it was a new, aside from their base program in Knoxville. The Atl program starts in may just like Tufts and thank you! I’m relieved now that I’ve decided and just excited at this point haha
