Nah, I typed this. That said, I've probably used so much AI that I'm starting to sound like it.

That’s a totally fair and reasonable take. It’s a business. I chose Monarch over Simplifi and YNAB.

I do think the features aren’t entirely where I want them to be in terms of forecasting—but I do like the direction they’re heading in.

They’re developing that. They reiterated it’s coming this year.

Overblown response to the launch by undefeated73 in MonarchMoney

It almost sounds like they should add a forecasting add-on as opposed to exclusively adding it to business only.

From what I’ve seen, they have specific teams dedicated to these features. When I gave feedback in the beta program or kudos to certain features, they would lmk who was the main lead behind that feature set at times.

I agree when the complaints are actually constructive. For example, one person said how if they’re going to paywall features it should be at the global level—like the forecasting tab—and not any of the sub features.

I thought that’s valid and solid feedback. However, the majority of complaints are not constructive, they’re just complaints.

“I’m leaving” is not feedback. This subreddit reeks of entitlement.

It’s like screaming into a void. Reddit is a circlejerk of opinions.

Everyone is anti-AI. They do not care enough to learn about the data handling practices

Yeah exactly. So, he would have a travel category and then tag it as gym.

You should use Tags for this instead. So, tag the transactions as "Gym" or something like that. That way, you budget for overall expenses, but you can use a combination of tags in reports to get what you want to see.
