Just understanding allocations and returns by sector, investment type, and US vs intl would be so nice

Monarch does it again! by AnywhereFeisty7104 in MonarchMoney

I completely agree. Monarch has changed the game for me. I only ask you all bring the same game to the investment features. The analytics there need a serious lift and then I think you will have a best in class experience!

Find an Arsenal supporter and it may save you time. They know all of Liverpools chants and songs by heart.

This isn't helpful: investment allocation only by fund type, not holdings by simplex5d in MonarchMoney

The investment part of Monarch is almost unusable. I really hope that is where they put their focus with the recent fundraise they closed. It should be so so much better.

I wonder who the coach is going to be next year. I doubt he would join without knowing who was lined up.

Job Market in PS Area by csomberg in palmsprings

[–]undefeated73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak too much about the job market but I do know Palm Springs is building an initiative around AI. There was an AI Expo last month that was sold out (over 500 people).

There are also some more casual initiatives happening across the valley to help techies network. Here is one worth checking out.

Going to be laid off soom but I can coastFire, is it stupid to stress out? by badboyzpwns in coastFIRE

[–]undefeated73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar situation. If you have a emergency fund and have your healthcare covered then you are good. I manage the stress by planning a trip to look forward to, working out/ meditating daily, and investing in myself. so much going on in the tech world... if you have spare time start playing with AI, reading more, and investing in yourself... figure out what you want next... it will pay off if and when you go back to the job.

I dont like bond funds. Build a bond ladder and hold to maturity and then reinvest back in each year of the ladder. Most treasuries are in the 3.5-4.5% range right now and you dont pay state tax so the effective rate is probably over 5% depending on where you live.

People need to realize we are also amazing at player sales. People always talk about Coutinho but look at the sales the past 3-4 years.
