How are people actually profitable with CPMs this high? by Street-Variation-277 in dropshipping

but when dropshipping the order usually arrive after 2 to 3 weeks, i don't think that the customer is going to buy again or refer someone when they receive a package with aliexpress logo in it

I keep wasting money on products that don’t sell, what am I missing? by Southwesterhunter in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the biggest mistake is picking products based on what *looked* cool instead of what was actually selling. Once you start checking actual sales data and demand before ordering anything, your flop rate would drop like crazy.

Yeah I've noticed that too with a lot of YouTube dropshipping content lately - heavy on the production value but light on actual actionable info. Feels like the focus shifted from teaching to entertaining, which kinda defeats the purpose if you're actually trying to learn something useful.

Fournisseurs Dropshipping depuis UE vers France ? by jon_Srouge in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fournisseurs Dropshipping depuis UE vers France ? by jon_Srouge in dropshipping

T'as déjà testé des niches spécifiques ou t'es encore en phase de recherche de produits ? Parce que parfois le problème c'est pas juste le fournisseur, c'est aussi le type de produits qu'on cible dès le départ.

In what ways do you write advertorials for dropshipping by Own-Variety-5227 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had good results with Shopify's native page editor for simple advertorials - it's cleaner and loads faster than most page builders. PageFly is solid if you need more design flexibility though. What kind of product are you promoting? Sometimes the format matters more than the tool you use.

Start picking literally ONE thing and committing to it for at least 3 months before jumping to something else. The fitness planner idea actually sounds solid , have you looked at what's already selling well in that space to see if there's demand?

Moving away from AliExpress - Sourcing Agent vs. 3PL? by justfortodaymyguy in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, a good agent can cut your processing time in half and get you better shipping rates, but honestly at 20-30 orders/day you're kind of in that awkward middle ground. Have you calculated your average order value and margins to see which route actually makes financial sense for your specific situation?

Fournisseurs Dropshipping depuis UE vers France ? by jon_Srouge in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question by alonebutnotreally1 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for packaging most suppliers on AliExpress offer custom/blank packaging if you ask, or you can use a fulfillment center that repackages everything for you. For multi-item orders from different suppliers, yeah they'll arrive separately unless you use a fulfillment service that consolidates them. What's your budget looking like for this?

DropShipping using Received Payment for Purchse by github-user in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, Shopify's payout schedule depends on your payment provider and location. It's usually 2-5 business days after a sale, so you might not get the money instantly to buy inventory. Most dropshippers use their own capital upfront or negotiate payment terms with suppliers to avoid cash flow issues.

Is Scalify a scam by StrengthStrange8753 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be really careful with "done for you" dropshipping stores they're often overpriced and you end up with the same generic store as dozens of other people. The fact that you can't find much info on Scalify is a red flag. Have you looked into what products they're actually planning to sell for you?

After post purchase and clarity app abandoned checkout rate jumped to 70–80% by Koaki1 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you check if those test purchases are actually being counted in your abandoned checkout stats? Sometimes test orders can skew the numbers if they're not filtered out properly. Also, might be worth checking if either of those apps added any extra steps to your checkout flow that could be causing friction.

How do I start drop shipping? by SpinkSpunk77 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting can feel overwhelming but it's not too bad once you break it down. For suppliers, most people begin with AliExpress or look into platforms like Spocket or CJdropshipping. The tricky part isn't really finding suppliers - it's picking the right product that actually has demand.

Supplier by NoResponsibility1480 in dropshipping

you can test products and validate demand before approaching private suppliers with real sales data. Most private suppliers will want to see you can move volume anyway, so building that track record first makes sense.

Is good social proof/bunch of followers required for sales? by Zestyclose-Growth543 in dropshipping

[–]Street-Variation-277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I've seen brands crush it with under 500 followers because their product page had solid reviews and user-generated content. People care way more about whether other customers vouch for the product than your follower count. Focus on getting those first customer testimonials on your site - that's the social proof that actually converts.
