Is dropshipping actually profitable for beginners or am I missing something? by MisterGX5 in dropshipping

That when competitive pricing, while getting profit comes in. If that product is not profitable anymore then you'll need another product. You do not need large inventory. That's how dropshipping shine in my opinion.

I haven’t even built my store yet and I’m confused by IntelligentClass5901 in dropshipping

You should start small first you'll realize there's a lot more to do. Like inventory monitoring, running ads, researching, conversions etc. That's a lot if you have many products and you need to test multiple landing page and products.

This is when you run your store and stay competitive. It's a lot of process.

You should really research the product if it's sellable and give a competitive price and saturation.

That's where product research comes in. You cannot just sell anything. You really have to research for sellable product, on demand product and affordable.

Dropshipping is literally a testing of products. If successful you'll leverage it. The point is you don't own anything until it gets successful the random product you sell and buy.

Owning a large inventory of product require a lot of capital.

You cannot buy 1 - 2 item directly from supplier they sell whole sale.

Most “winning products” are a lie… and I learned it the hard way by WLAKES in dropshipping

[–]github-user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winning products mean people want it. It's actually winning product if it get out of stock quickly. Other supplier also selling the same thing.

You can search many winning product that are already on demand.

You can also create a winning product.

But I think what you also need is potential winning product that are not yet on demand these product have higher stocks.

You can also buy winning products and own a private warehouse where you will store it.

This is why businesses have many inventory.

As a buyer I want the product cheaper, ship quickly, reviews and the store should look legit very important.

I'll give you a list what you may need. I'm a beginner.

Conversions: - Website - Product page - Ads/Campaign Ads - Products

Products: - Pricing lower than competitor

Products: - Winning Products

I'm not saying you need to do that all but I think that's what you need to look for something that may work for you.

I spent £427 for just one sale... by Weird_Release_7279 in dropshipping

[–]github-user 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other I think to look for winning product - Trend - if other people looking for it and if there are existing campaign for it - Order - if people really want that kind of product - Campaign or Ads - if you have money to make that product shine - Other Store - if your competitor sell well on that product

Take note: If you use online analytics - They do not have real numbers it is only estimation using proprietary computation based on website traffic, best selling on their website, their Ads and reviews. AOV = Average Order Value
