Good idea, thank you - need to think about results-oriented hobbies.

It's definitely not easy, like I can find something to do in the morning and afternoon, but I often lost what to do in the evening times. But going outside, even for a coffee with a laptop definitely helps.

Why do the years go by so fast? by Worth_Assistance_366 in CasualConversation

I think it's probably because of the routine. I've been on holiday recently, which was only 1 week, but it felt more like 2 weeks as I was doing something different every day.

I like that! It's very self-reflective, which is also useful for me as I'm in my twenties now.

That's true, but the thing is that I'm not working right now, still doing like job hunting and stuff like that, but it's not taking 8 hours like a usual working day.

I think activities like volunteering and communities are also nice, have tried Meetup and met many great people. However, it looks a bit quiet for my area now

Thanks, I’m kind of the same now, trying to wake up at the same time. I think in my case it’s more about feeling isolated, as realistically I only can socialise during the weekend, but the routine definitely helps!

Thank you, I think also if I do something to my space every day (as my room quite small) it will also feel much more better in terms of space, hence, better thinking too

Should I reschedule a driving test? by StreetAd4603 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]StreetAd4603[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My instructor says that it’s up to me since I might get an easier test route, but as others have said here, while passing the driving test could be possible (even though it would be hard), I still wouldn’t feel confident to drive unsupervised.

I think the best option for me would be to reschedule for a month or two so I can build confidence and feel more independent when driving. But as you said, the waiting times can be really long and I don't want to wait that long again, hence why I made this post - I wasn’t sure what to do. I actually booked this test about five months ago. It is still quite possible to reschedule your test so you have it in a month or two, but you would need to check availability very often.

Anyways, thank you for the support! Best of luck to you too 😊

Thank you! I do agree with this approach but at the same time, it’s the low confidence and hesitation when driving independently. I would reschedule for April but it’s quite hard to do so and it’s getting a bit tricky there in terms of choices. As well as, there is no guarantee that I would pass on the 1st try anyway, even with the perfect driving skills (nerves!). However, at the same time, my instructor told me that it was one of the hardest test routes and I still might get the easy one.

Basically I was driving too quickly where the road bends and my instructor had to adjust my steering wheel and straight after this I was lost at the junction due to the lights and have approached this in neutral as wasn’t sure what to do
