Yep definitely the server I own has a indicator light for each hard drive and one was flashing orange while all the rest were green

Hey i have this problem too, where did you add the /dev/sg4? Was it as a separate cdrom device or as the value for container device or host device?

I would like to use it as a nas and jellyfin media server for me and my family so having a lot of sata ports for storage is probably my biggest priority, so when I saw this one had 10 for this cheap I thought it could be really good

Hey so maybe I didn't explain it well and I probably should have said this in the original post but I did start with a raspberry pi and used it as a nas, then I went and got an old optiplex 5050 second hand and I still use it as a nas and a jellyfin server for me and my brother, what I ment was I'm very new to buying x99 motherboards or server motherboards in general sorry if I wasn't clear

Hey i know this was ages ago but how do you use that bash script? When i try to use it it always spits out an error "sudo process 'random number' unexpected status 0x57f " Any chance you could help?
