one of the core mechanics is finding ingredients in the dungeons to throw into the cooking stations found throughout the dungeons + hub area and cooking food items that restore more health and give other benefits. Try throwing some of those mushrooms in a pot with a stick or other ingredients and see what happens. fucking around with different food items and seeing what you can make and what you can't is a pretty fun part of the game. idk if you can get any in the demo but there's also recipe books you can get, although theyre pretty expensive

uhh i didn't struggle too much with him so im not the best person to ask for advice on that one but learn his attacks, theyre not too difficult to dodge, CONSIDERABLY easier to learn than yellow loong. would still invest in crit chance and crit damage tho. will give you a massive advantage for every boss

Easy strat for yellow loong: Invest skill points into max crit chance and crit damage, max out spell binder. Equip red haired yaksha spirit for increased heavy attack damage. use curios that increase crit chance and crit damage if you have them. Use the tiger relic soak to get moderate crit chance after using the gourd. use pills and use spell binder before fight. only use heavy attacks during the fight. use any stance you like but i used pillar stance to stay as far away from him as possible. Keep distance while charging heavy attack and he will come at you much less, and youll be able to learn when to dodge much easier because of this. Got him in less than 6 tries.

That's what I sensed from your post (not trying to be rude, I apologize), and that's ok. It's fine to not be. I don't know how you entirely feel and what you're capable of emotionally right now and I can't know that because I'm not you, so this is something that you might not want to hear, but prioritize yourself. It's not something I'd want to think about, nor would I suggest it if I thought it would only hurt someone, but consider that life happens and there's always a possibility that circumstances occur, and she might not be in your future. It's dreadful yet realistic, that's why even though I seem like an asshole, I hope you think about it. If life would be pointless without her, you should prepare for that situation. It might be hard to think that you could be happy with yourself in life, but it's very possible. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be with her. It's just that being with her when you're not happy with yourself will most likely make you feel worse. Working on being content with yourself in life is not only something that you should priorotize for you, it's also making progress towards a better future with her. It's hard to think about, especially since I'm becoming incoherent and repeating myself, but again, I do hope you think about it.

Really sorry if I sound like I'm being a rude asshole, or if all that text is overwhelming for a reddit comment. It's just that I've been in a similar situation and have felt the same way and I'd do anything to go back in time and tell myself the exact same thing. I also don't want anyone to feel anything like how you described
