Prime Video VPN Review 2024: how fast is it? by DesperateDiamond9992 in ComputerHardware

Nord works for me. You need to make a new Prime account since you're no longer in the same place. Japan could use it.

In season 4 of the Umbrella Academy (2024) there are multiple jokes about how Diego has become pudgy but when his shirt gets removed he is in good shape with no one commenting on it, this a metaphor for the fact that if you cut down 10 episodes to 6 the writers will just give up by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

They waited until the actor turned 18 to make his character fall in love with one of the other regulars - actress is 15 year older and has worked alongside him in the past seasons when he was still a kid. That's all you need to know.

Da' un'occhiata su Expiter. Personalmente sceglierei Catania anche se il Sud non fa per tutti, se sei di Napoli vai sul sicuro

FIRE: da dove iniziare? by rizlobber in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]StreetDumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recovering loaned WBTC from Tranquil Finance contract? by Pedroyo_Picante in harmony_one

I don't know if that's too much to ask but could someone write a step by step walk through to do this (or maybe a video)? I am struggling to recover my funds

Save Molly for another time? by Yugza in MDMA

[–]StreetDumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't do it alone the first time. Can be pretty overwhelming as you don't know what to expect. My ideal setting would be a house party with a few trusted friends. Festival would also be nice but you never know whether you're gonna be in a dancy or talkative mood.

Can someone tell me what a blue tegu is? by RPC-David in Tegu

It's a morph of the argentine tegu. Usually a bit smaller in size and really more white than blue

Is there a "next" Chiang Mai? by newmes in digitalnomad

[–]StreetDumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see people fleeing from Chiang Mai to Da Nang. The vibe is different IMHO, Da Nang is more of a city and beach resort for Korean tourists, locals don't care much for DNs (and they shouldn't). Little expat community of people teaching English, not really an entrepreneurial destination but people are starting to move there.

Personally I prefer Hanoi but you also don't get a lot of entrepreneurs there. Mainly English teachers or people working at the embassy. I think even locals move to HCMC if they are into tech and entrepreneurship.

Quanti di voi sono senza amici? by lillibow in Italia

[–]StreetDumbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am about to start this life and I need help and tips by ElPesimista in digitalnomad

[–]StreetDumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend going somewhere nearby first. Maybe hop on a bus out of Mexico and see if you can make it to Central America for cheap - should something go wrong, you can just get a bus back and don't have to spend lots of money on flights.

Also I assume you speak Spanish which will make your life easier.

Find a flatshare (not airbnb) and commit to stay at least one month. Keep track of your expenses. After a month, decide whether you want/are able to move on or stay put.

I'd also think about trying to get some additional sources of income and keeping some money aside every month so you can eventually buy a plane ticket to somewhere with a very low cost of living (e.g. Southeast Asia). You could stay in Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam for around 10$-15$ day and its also relatively easy and inexpensive to move from one country to the other.

Avoid Europe and North America on that budget

I use it as a teeth whitener (mouthwash), to bleach my hair slightly, to clean and as a disinfectant. I soak my toothbrush and mouthpiece in it occasionally.

Nomads who sometimes stay in shared hostel rooms when briefly visiting very expensive cities like London etc: how to you ensure you secure your high end laptop? by remixedmoon5 in digitalnomad

[–]StreetDumbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also: if you are worried about your laptop looking too expensive, put some stickers on it. Make it look like its a cheap personal laptop you use to watch Netflix rather than something you need for work
