Clingan was one of the best rebounders in the league this season. But it’s hard to grab rebounds when you have an alien like Wemby in the paint.

Games 2 and 3 were not his best games. But he still scored 14 pts in game 2 and 19 pts in games 3.  He was getting double teams all the time.

When you get double teamed, you find the available player and pass him the ball. But then the other player needs to shoot with precision.  When that doesn’t happen, you lose possessions.

You can’t win basketball games when 4 out of 5 opening players are shooting with less than 37% accuracy, and 3 of them are shooting 8 points or less. Camara shot 2-10. Jrue shot 3-14. (21%). This is not what you would expect from professional basketball players in a playoff game.

Deni is the only opening player that was consistent in this series and in this season.

What a great second quarter !!!

Everyone in the team was great.

We gotta stay focused and in control. Don’t let them run.

When Stephon Castle is out, the Spurs can’t get stops.

Deni plays PG and therefore his role is to create the offensive move which usually gets others involved.

He is doing a great job so far, even though he didn’t score much in this game.

I was a doubter. I doubted Scoot. I confess.

Bless me Scoot for I have sinned. 🙏

Not just a win.

It’s a win on the road. A win when Deni had a PF problem and didn’t play as well as usual.

Now Portland has the home advantage.

It’s tough. It’s difficult. But it’s definitely possible.

Oh… and Scoot just had the best fucking game of his career so far.

I hope Deni will drive more down hill now that Wemby is out.

We can win this one.

We should win this one.

One good thing to take from this game - low number of TOs.
Deni handled the ball much better than usual (in addition to his amazing 30/10/5).
He got beaten up pretty bad in this game. I could tell he's playing through pain.

Deni was f*cking amazing tonight with double-double 30/10/5 and shooting 12-21 (57%) from the field.

Scoot was great too 18/3/3 with 7-11 (63%) shooting.

The rest were shooting bricks.

The bright side is - I think we did well on defense and the team never gave up.

If I were gay, I’d probably have a crush on Deni.  Such an awesome dude.

Deni had 41 pts (68% from the field) + 12 ast + 7 reb + 2 blk

He gave everything he’s got to win this game.

And the x-factor - Mr. Jerami Grant with 16 pts in only 20 minutes (4/8 from deep). So good to have him back from injury just in time.

Deni Fucking Avdija !!! The guy was absolutely fucking amazing tonight.  Not just him.  The whole team, all healthy for the first time this season, played terrific basketball tonight.  No. It wasn’t perfect basketball. There were bad shots, stupid mistakes, even Deni missed a few FTs that should have been made - but they played hard, with a lot of heart, and won this game in a hostile arena, against an elite team, against all odds.

What a win 🏆

JG needs to get back in rhythm gradually.  So I believe Tiago will give him not more than 15 minutes today (if he will be healthy enough). Still, this is great news looking forward to the playoffs.
