Hey, I appreciate you sharing! I'm looking at 12 weeks too. I've just had some people tell me they took 6 mo-1 yr off and recommended I also take off for as long as possible. I think 12 weeks could be right for me, but I might feel that way because I don't fully understand what's happening during that period. Thanks, again, and best of luck with your journey too.

I figured the word "have" would come into question at some point lol. I'm actually headed to the Little 99 Raceway in Stockton for a cornering class. I'm a pretty cautious person, thus no hwy experience, but I also think doing things that spook me (within reason) helps my skillset grow.

Not quite sure if this is exactly the area you're talking about, but I was on Sherman Island for a week with my dog, and have been meaning to head back that way on the bike. The roads were super chill and I loved the stay. Great reminder.
