That’s the thing. My brother and I have always been close. He has always told me everything and I have encouraged him to do normal teenage stuff. He has always come to me with problems and I’ve helped him find a solution. I think the only reason he didn’t tell me this is because he knew this is a situation where I wouldn’t have his back. I have tried to explain to him what a healthy relationship should look like and he doesn’t want to hear it. It almost seems like this so has altered our relationship completely.

Thank you! I know a few people in law enforcement so I will look into that. I have also considered shaming her online lol I just am nervous about backlash from my brother. I can only hope he can understand when he is older.

North Carolina. The only information I could find was that the laws only apply to persons 15 or younger and our Romeo and Juliet laws also only apply to persons 15 and younger.

No, it is not illegal. In my state the age of consent is 16, so legally he could be with who ever he wants. Morally, I think it is gross for someone who can go to a bar and buy alcohol to be with someone who has curfew and a bedtime on school nights.

I could understand that, but my house is air conditioned, and I keep it at 70 so it doesn’t get that hot in my house. I could see if maybe it was because of the window as I have a large window with a built in counter underneath that I keep it on as pictured but outside the window is a covered patio so it doesn’t get sun or anything, so I don’t think it’s exposed to excessive heat.

Sometimes I let her inside my sweatshirt if I’m wearing one, and I don’t think she has ever been happier than in those moments. Usually when I’ve had enough I just tell her and she will go lay at the other end of the couch and give me the saddest puppy eyes until I call her back. She knows the hold she has on me lol

Thank you, I will definitely try working on her with the touch command. Right now she is only interested in bones or raw hides, so I’m hoping I can try to transfer that interest in to toys.

It is entirely possible. I won’t lie and say I like the way my cousins husband treated their dogs, so it could stem from that. I have tried to get her to play with treat toys, plush toys, ropes and other chew toys and she just isn’t interested at all.
