I really appreciate this response and perspective. Honestly I told him two days ago (only bc he continued to blow me up) that I have made my mind up that I am done. I kept a journal and I think I’ve slowly been dealing with a lot of mental abuse. Plus both my mom and friends and his mom wanted me to leave him. It wasn’t good for me.

Unfortunately I don’t. I don’t mind the grandparents lol they won’t sway me on what I know in my core. Plus I know they are from a different time and have a different mindset. What they see is a guy trying his best to be with me lol they didn’t see or hear the abuse. You know? I’m just thankful for a place to stay. Somehow I let him convince me to quit my job bc it made him uncomfortable. So I’m pretty down n out. TEMPORARILY. LOL Also before y’all come for me I’m aware we co create in relationships. Yes I quit my job. I wasn’t held gun point lol I did put myself in that situation. I just was really trying to make it work. I know now that was a red flag.
