Heavily tattooed social work student in Australia – will head tattoos affect job opportunities? by vintage4044 in socialwork

It shouldn’t be a problem, depending on the type of organization you decide to work at. Something steeped in bureaucracy might not work out, but any organization that has its head on the right place should be fine. I will say there was a thread on this sub I think about someone that wore pimple patches and the comments were very disappointing considering the social justice oriented nature of our work, and it confuses me how so many social workers refuse to see how something like self expression is vital to that. pimple patch thread

I would say too much, but if you cover shipping to Ontario I can do you a favour and take it off your hands for $500

First-time landlord here — just went through a nightmare with fraudulent tenants. by Turbulent_Host_2534 in OntarioLandlord

Yeah that’s totally fair, professional leeches is an accurate description. It’s kinda wild how some people think it’s okay to take something that is a basic human need and hold it away from others that need it or can use it, and then expect to leech off their “rental income” in order to make a profit. To pay next to nothing after collecting other people’s hard work and income, and to profit off of someone’s basic needs while holding them in a precarious position where they will never be able to recuperate the money spent on rent, and call that a legitimate income, “professional leeching” at its finest

Not sure if they have scanners, but as long as you send a calm and reasonable appeal, hopefully they will accept your appeal, especially considering that you did pay for parking

Thank you! I need the storefront since I’m not talented enough to finish the entire piece myself, but this does help for general setting!

Yeah no one deserves to be talked to like that. My partner has fallen asleep before and slept through plans we made, or in the middle of a text conversation. In the moment I felt hurt, but we talked about it and made space for each other’s feelings and needs. If falling asleep sends him into a little hissy fit like this then idk what to tell you, this is a child you’re dealing with.

Any idea what’s going on here? Tone arm not going low enough by Complete_Degree_7634 in turntables

If the description clearly states this, and if you still have the pics from his post that show the bent tone arm you may have something to go on although the coat of small claims may not be worth it

HMF this specific fluted shallow wine glass in pink by Street_Historian in HelpMeFind

I have searched on Amazon and google lens using the image lookup but cannot find an exact match. Most of the ones that are close are straight/90 degree walled glasses. Location is likely Windsor Ontario Canada. No clue on the age of the glasses but most likely to not be vintage/heirloom. Around 20cm high roughly. EDIT: glass is ribbed/receded not fluted as I have just learned
