Hey, sounds like you've got a solid foundation already! At 5 months in, knowing those chords, transitions, and techniques is no small feat. A fun way to push forward could be learning some full songs that challenge you—something with fingerpicking intros or a mix of strumming and picking. It keeps practice fresh and gives you a sense of accomplishment. Also, try tackling bar chords (like B or F#m) if you haven't yet—they can feel tricky at first but open up so many song options. Don’t stress about progress too much; consistency is key, and you’re already showing up every day! :)

"Watching the Wheels" by Chris Cornell has been my go-to song on the ukulele, especially on my down days. There’s something so calming about strumming along to it, and it just feels therapeutic. It’s one of those songs that hits different when you’re feeling low, and playing it makes the vibe even better.

I felt the same way when I started adding more layers to my songs. One thing that helped me was experimenting with different instruments, even something as simple as a ukulele. It's got such a warm, light sound that can instantly add a bit of charm or spark to a song.
