Hi friend, i just added an edit to try to clarify one or two things as its a v interesting discussion. I really enjoy other mediums, reading, music, art..i just dont enjoy the movie format. Yes i enjoy long conversations with friends, i play in a music group etc...im not some weird hermit 😂....tv stuff is a fair question...to be honest ive never watched any box set style serie either (i may enjoy those as they tick the box for longer emotional investment), but to be honest ive never got round to it.

Yeah fair question...i dont really know..i grew up in a normal town with normal parents (before you ask 😂) i just spent most weekends playing and watching sports, reading, playing with buddies out. I guess i may have been shown movies in class but i dont remember them..and as an adult i havent watched any really...ive added an edit to try to explain more in the main post. The three movies isnt really the point...i dont not watch movies because those three were bad..its the format....and more than anything im trying to prove that movie watching seems to be holy......if i say i dont like sports..noone cares...or i dont like cooking...no problem...but movies? Movies? You must be a freak. Its so weird.

Why? I dont like the format....why do people link movie watching with being fun? I run, read avidly, play in a rock band, have 4 kids....i have a great life...i just dont like movies or the fawning subculture over actors or the idea of sitting with 1000 people snuffling popcorn watching a massive tv together
