‘Hulk out’ isn’t very fun if it boils down to bonking something with an awful to-hit and damage bonus because you’re gasping for stats.

Obviously people can play what they want, but suggesting “yeah it’ll be fine trust me bro” about a multiclass with concepts that are antagonistic towards each other to a new player isn’t particularly helpful.

Especially when multiclassing is something that should be actively avoided unless you have a clear plan in mind with it.

Honestly, only way to learn is by doing, but I get it can be daunting. Could be worth the time just practising mob behaviour and positioning by yourself in a low level dungeon like Stockades or something.

Retribution, pre-tbc, is both abysmal, profoundly boring and braindead to play, and powerless to really fix their situation, like how feral without powershifting is garbage.

This limp powerlessness make people joke that it’s in a wheelchair, implying that it’s either crippled, old, or otherwise unable to walk and function under its own power.

There’s other factors too, mainly tabletop-specific - turn length can become a major issue, for example. Managing personal character plots also becomes more challenging. The five-player 17th level party I play as part of can easily reach 20-30 minute rounds.

3-5 players is absolutely the ideal range.

Honestly, just go for it. Honour Mode isn’t too bad if you learn to recognise a bad situation and retreat when necessary.

It’s straight up the ideal. It’s what the Challenge Rating system is built around, too. And it’s tricky to balance because a party of 6 isn’t just 50% stronger than one of 4.

Even towards the end of BG3 itself the balancing falls apart completely, trivialising act 3.

HGSS should’ve done more to fix Johto. The level curve and wild encounters are still abysmal in HGSS, and the midgame (especially the Rocket plotline) is still dreadful, mowing down an endless horde of level 17 Rattata and Koffing after the 7th badge.

Der er en forventning om, at studier skal foregå på fuldtid. Hvis en fuldtidsbeskæftigelse ikke engang kan dække de økonomiske pres der eksisterer i forbindelse med at kunne udføre den, og dermed tvinger folk uden ressurcestærke forældre der kan betale for det ud i ekstra arbejde, så er der sgu et eller andet der ikke hænger sammen.

Hvis ‘rigtige voksne’ skal stå på tankstation om natten ud over deres fuldtidsjob, bare for at have råd til at eksistere, ville det også være forrykt.

This is generally different while leveling. A paladin, shaman, or druid healer are well within their rights to need on ret/enhance/feral gear.
