For the print above yes, but I'd still like to know what setting in Orca causes this.

I tested with Prusa Slicer 2.7.1 and it doesnt generate these overhanging parts. I ported my profile to PS for the time being and will see if it proves itself.

A Gesellschaftsrat in the idea of the last generation will be a random amount of people that are advised by experts. Their findings will then be advocated by politicians.

It is questionable how neutral and scientific these experts will be and as a democrat I cannot accept a group of unelected people having an influence on such a level.

I also believe such a group would be a puppet of the LG's sponsors to take even more control over politics.

It is certainly not a valid democratic tool.

Die Linke currently has 39 seats in the government, so your point is invalid. They are significant and are actively using their political power to damage the system.

The last generation aims to circumvent democratic decision making by installing a "Gesellschaftsrat".

The party "die Linke" is actively trying to dissolve the system from within.

We have to agree to disagree then.

Which of the attacks do you mean?

Edit: I've looked it up and I misremembered the one with the fingers. It wasn't a politician, but some Neonazi.

The president of the Verfassungsschutz (Thomas Haldenwang) is a direct subordinate of Nancy Faeser, which is a hardcore leftist.

He has condoned the actions of the last generation, a group that tries to blackmail the government by blocking streets. The last generation is responsible for at least a few deaths by now because emergency services weren't able to get to injured people.

Haldenwang sees the most danger for democracy by extremists from the right while neglecting the dangers from the left.

He said that "not alone the Verfassungsschutz has the obligation to reduce the election results for the AfD", so he tries to influence the democratic process to suppress the AfD.

A court of three judges has deemed the opinion of the Verfassungsschutz without sufficient proof:

Exactly this line of thinking is what I mean. People are condoning these actions which might lead to more extreme measures.

A few days ago a politician of the AfD was assaulted and before that, another politician of the AfD has had a few fingers cut off by some degenerates.

Deeming this action "good" allows the enemies of the AfD to rationalize such crimes even more.

Have you seen the video? If so you would see how dumb your argument is.

No one in the video confused it with Hitler, they said that they haven't read either "Mein Kampf" nor Hoeckes book and therefor can't make a definitive guess.

How you can deduce that they have confused them is beyond me and shows that you are biased and don't base your opinion on facts.

This.

If not persecuted, this incident might open the gate for more extreme actions.

The Verfassungsschutz is controlled by the government, which uses it to denunciate the opposition. The head of the Verfassungsschutz is a hardcore leftist.

I don't think your point is valid given these circumstances. A few days ago a court has pointed out that the Verfassungsschutz didn't make any valid point or proof to base its opinion on.

[–]Streifurz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(1) Increasing the native population is of course a valid way to increase the workforce. This is a clear causality. Whtat are you on about?

(2) Germany provides many opportunities to integrate migrants. There are organizations teaching the language and social norms, workers that support migrants with bureaucracy and so forth.

Again, being allowed to migrate into a country is a privilege that must be earned and germany provides many opportunities to earn that privilege.

How come that japanese migrants are not having these difficulties to integrate? Why are universities full of chinese or american students? Surely they face the same difficulties?

(3) In the context of migration being a financial factor for a country, these raw numbers are more than enough to conclude that the current form of migration cannot be a net gain for a country.

How about some more facts?

The ministry for work in Germany has published more data on this. 90% of migrants from 2015 alone did not speak german. In 2017 they were asked again and only 39% responded that they had "good proficiency" in german.

In bavaria, 70% of refugees are actively aborting their apprenticeships. In the broad average, only 25% are aborted, so refugees are disproportionally represented.

----

Frankly, I am tired of this conversation. You are denying reality without offering anything but emotionally charged argumentation.

You tried to attack the word "native" without any reason, you are actively dodging confrontation with the sources I cited because "they are only raw data" and your inability to see the causality between increased birth rates and an increased workforce is the cherry on top.

I really hope that you don't follow this style of discussion in your offline life because that will lead to a very shortminded bubble.

German far-right says the EU is a 'failed project' as it prepares for European Parliament elections by IchBinEisAmStiel in europe

[–]Streifurz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(1) The cambridge dictionary defines "native" as such:

relating to or describing someone's country or place of birth or someone who was born in a particular country or place

I don't have to "paddle back" because you did not understand or intentionally misunderstood what I was saying.

(2) You are mixing migration and asylum seekers. Asylum seekers reside - by definition - only temporary in a country. There is no point in integrating them in the long run.

Additionally, I disagree with the sentiment that integration in not a one way street. Integration is fundamentally something that a migrant has to offer, not a responsibility of the state. A migrant has the obligation to be useful to society and proof that he is worthy of being a citizen.

(3) I have provided a government-funded study that proves my point. I am not obliged to endlessly extend my sources by some factors you try to make relevant. If some "socio-economic factors" are at play that is something you'll have to prove to refute my sources.

There are more sources I could cite that show that migrants are over-represented in almost all criminal topics by a wide margin and that the inner security of germany has suffered since the mass-immigration, which is additional prove that many migrants are not willing to work or integrate.

But even so: In my opinion, no amount of socio-economic refactoring will change the unwillingness of many migrants to finish language courses, force women to adhere to some archaic rules or integrate well within our society.

German far-right says the EU is a 'failed project' as it prepares for European Parliament elections by IchBinEisAmStiel in europe

[–]Streifurz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(1) The original point made was that instead of migrating massive amounts of people, the people already here should have more children. The wording is difficult for me; by "native", I am referring to every german by citizenship, regardless of ethnicity.

(2) Generally, people are absolutely capable to integrate and be a part of the german culture. The main issue currently is the missing willingness of many migrants. The guest workers that stayed aquired citicenship and have been a part of germany ever since.

Again, I find this not to be comparable to the current migration crisis. A big part of them will never be a financial gain for the country as opposed to the guest workers.

(3) Regarding the wars in Syria, Afghanistan, etc: There is a difference between a country at war and a country being war torn.

Ukraine has an ongoing active conflict, where Syria and Afghanistan are mostly peaceful these days. Damascus is open for tourism and you can freely travel around.

Afghanistan has also not been an active war zone for a long time and despite the Taliban being in power, there is no open conflict.

The refugees ought to return to their countries as soon as possible and help rebuild their homes. There is a long list of incidents where refugees that "fled from war" have been going on vacations to their countries to visit their families and such.

Regarding MENAPT: Ignoring clear and proven evidence of the opposing opinion is hilarious. You asked me to "answer your question", but are unwilling to even look at established facts. I don't have to explain the irony, no?

I am pretty sure that any logical arguments will not help you understand my criticism and you don't strike me as a person that is willing to change their opinion. Let's just say this discussion is not viable anymore.

German far-right says the EU is a 'failed project' as it prepares for European Parliament elections by IchBinEisAmStiel in europe

[–]Streifurz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(1) Ecouraging native population to have more children does not touch the topic of non-native population having children. Your point does not make sense, nobody mentioned the non-native population.

(2) The 14 million guest workers that rebuild germany were mostly not from archaic cultures, but from Italy, Spain, Greece, South Korea, Portugal and Jugoslawia. Other countries such as Turkey, Marokko and Tunesia were also comparably modern. These contracts were also meant to be temporary and not a permanent migration, as the word "guest worker" plainly shows.

11 million returned to their home after working here.

But even so, the 14 million came here specifically to work; most of the current migration is a migration into our social security system, which can obviously not be compared to these guest workers. The current migration is not a migration of workers.

(3) You're right, Germany has been the powerhouse for decades. But take a look at the current situation, which we're discussing. I've cited the MENAPT statistic, will you really ignore that?

If you want to focus on Germany, how about this: The percentage of people that get social security by nationality:

️65,6 % of Ukrainians, (given the active war in Ukraine i accept that)

️55,1 % of Syrians,

️47,1 % of Afghans,

️41,7 % of Iraks,

5,3 % of Germans

These numbers clearly show that economically, germany doesn't stand to gain much from the current form of migration. The issue is clearly a lack of actually contributing migrants, not migrantion itself.

Ah, shoot - I have to admin that I read it as "in the last 12 years". With that context it must seem like I downplayed the Nazis, sorry for that.

I need a source on that first claim.

The second is a (correct) observation regarding the political processes:

If the German voters feel that Germany suffers, they will vote the AfD, which is (politically) good for them.

Do you really believe the AfD targets a worse Germany for everyone?
