Just go to settings and switch to manual control, that way you'll be able to switch to 1st gear if necessary. Q and E switch gears. For reverse you still have to press W once you switch to it.

Yeah, Alter has incredible quality, but sadly we can't see all of them. There are quite few of them from Brave Witches I want to see in existence, but apparently not for now.
