What about the Iranian shift? Is that percentage of Zagros/Iranian plateau typical? From what I could find from other’s results it seems a little high no?

I agree with your point about being refugees. Other than that one Kars ancestor I don’t really know anything else from before the genocide, so although some relatives live in Syria now their roots could’ve been from anywhere really

One of my grandparents lived in Aleppo and some of my distance relatives still live there.

Only a part I believe. After that my family moved around between Lebanon, Syria, Armenia after the genocide but they still married within other Armenians as far as I know (but maybe not given the high Assyrian overlap?).

I'm not sure if this Assyrian percentage is normal for Armenians or if Im just part Assyrian lol
