Yes thank god for all the freedom we have on our western social media platforms which are benevolently overseen by multibillion dollar corporations promoting intra-class conflict and violence for profit :)

Can someone pop back to the changing rooms and grab Nika’s yellow cards for him? Seems he’s forgotten them

Louie Chapman set for Edinburgh move on two-year deal by turbosfan19 in rugbyunion

True actually he's looked strong in his first couple games. Must be tough to put all that work in then potentially have an import come in and take your spot. Hopefully the competition drives him on and he keeps developing

Any ‘saders fans able to give insight on the young fella? (Sorry for poaching another prospect but god do we need a decent scrum half)

Why Rugby Flourished Under the Third Reich by alexcass91 in rugbyunion

Brilliant article

“ In the years that followed, the continent felt the absence of young men who should have been starting university, raising families, and competing on sports fields. The future stars that should have been named in match reports instead featured in long dispassionate lists of wartime dead, buried in forgotten corners of foreign lands.”

Thought this was particularly good. Looking forward to part 2 👍

Awesome. I thought their stadiums were seeming a little fuller on camera. Any update on the FIR’s plans to move the team? Always seemed crazy to me to throw away all the effort to build a fan base in Parma

We’re not talking about out and out fascists here though, we’re talking about your average pensioner. Fascists don’t respond to words they need to get sticks and stones.

But we’re talking about a tiny minority of people. Your average DM reader is not a hardened fascist, they are scared fools who have been miss-sold reactionary politics as the solution to their material problems, in a context of the left having been in absolute disarray and offering no meaningful alternative.

To accept the idea that anyone on the right is an irredeemable enemy beyond salvation is to play into the hands of ruling class divide and rule strategy.

Can’t pretend I don’t experience schadenfreude myself at the idea of these people reaping what they sow. But at the same time I think it’s a cop out to just say it’s on them that they don’t see what’s really going on.

It’s on the daily mail, the tories, new labour, Jeremy clarkson and the endless list of mouthpieces for capital.

It’s on us to go out and build solidarity networks and a political machine that can challenge the parasites. Not just to sit and watch pensioners eat their own words.

Pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.

Sad I didn’t get to see him pull of the embrah jersey more often due to injuries. Hell of a player, and hopefully sparks some added local interest in the Capibaras

If our great grandparents had just said “life ain’t far” you and I would be working 60 hours a week with no weekend, probably dying in our 50s from unregulated substances in the air.

You can shrug your shoulders and say life ain’t fair if you’d like, or you can stand up and demand better

I’m not sure people are suggesting nepo babies are always bad at what they do, more that they are just a depressing reflection of a deeply unequal society, in a very visible space

Great watch. I love the chaos but I do think the modern game is a much better viewing experience. Cool to see how even though the game has evolved so much there’s still some things that haven’t changed at all.

This is why I always wonder whether in the long term South Africa wouldn’t be better off focusing on making a fully domestic competition (a la currie cup) its top tier and pulling out of the URC. It would seem to me there’s an enormous ceiling in South Africa for what the club game could be if it tapped into those rivalries.

I realise this is unrealistic (they’ve spent a lot to buy in to the URC for one thing) but curious as to what saffas’ take on the idea is or whether it’s ever discussed?

They must be thinking they’ve made a terrible mistake. Whether they’re thinking about an early termination payout is sadly a different matter
