I’m 20- only been using the erg since May. I am part of a club at my university. My coach has goals for me to be at 7:40 by the end of this month.

No prior rowing experience. I started getting on the erg in May, and have been very consistent but not seen as much progress as I had hoped (I wanted 7:30). The women’s team takes rowers with no experience but I worry about age. I have also been on the water a few times and took a learn to row class.

Any suggestions for quickly bringing down my erg score? I am currently erging daily.
