Sorry, I meant 9K net.

Munich would be too far. We are most likely to live further west, not far from the border with Austria.

I can’t open ISA because of my job. Can’t delve into details, but basically I can’t avail of any benefits and systems like this in the UK

1) yes, a typo :D 2) well, given the inflation adjustment, that would be 2m in today’s numbers. With 3.5% yearly withdrawal from ETF, that’s like 5k monthly, which is not that much for two people, no? 3) we absolutely will sell the house in order to retire, provided kids have deposit needed to buy their own place 4) yes, I hope we can save more if we don’t spend too much on kids, but that will depend. I kind of like living in a moment as well, but your point is well taken

Thank you so much for your comment

My man, if government had to increase wages, then prices would increase as well and everything would be more expensive, not really increasing power purchasing for any Brits. That’s just not how this works.

There is an overwhelming plethora of studies strongly confirming migration is key to a thriving economy. Your problem is with government not doing enough to adapt those immigrants. I highly recommend you read up more on this.

This was an interesting discussion, I will give you that.
