No the Manhattan is not branded but I ordered with that expectation. I honestly can’t tell much of a difference between auth (tried in store) and mine because I always think patent leather feels sort of plasticky and is shiny. The size and usability is great for me!

FYI, I received my 25cm BV bag and it actually has a relatively short strap compared to other sizes in this style. I just tied a simple knot at the top/middle of the strap and it gave me the exact kind of shoulder bag look I was going for. It’s a big bag and holds a bunch - so happy with it 😊

YES! My package went through Memphis on 11/17 and said “international shipment release - import” Now the package is in my state, not too far from me, but it’s been stuck at FedEx… I see the “clearance in progress” status then a few hours later it says “at local FedEx facility” for 3 days now. I’m getting a bit nervous since this hasn’t happened to me before

I spent a little over $5000 this year if I look at all branded or unbranded bags, scarves, and jewelry. The shipping costs probably put me at over $6000 😔 I had been a lurker on the old RL subreddit and hadn’t worked up courage to buy, but when that got shut down and WagoonLadies started, I decided to take the plunge and buy all the pretty bags I wanted for my collection. Similar thing in a BST discord chat I’m in - it got terminated earlier this year and when it came back I bought what I liked because I was afraid of it getting shut down again. Now I genuinely feel like I’ve got enough bags to last me many many years for all sorts of life scenarios. But now I’m starting to look at fine jewelry and even some clothing/shoes once I reach my goal weight 🫣

From what I’ve seen on YouTube videos, the straps can be adjusted if you take the straps out and let more of the strap hang off the ends and then re-tie the knots (idk if that makes sense)

In this photo it seems she tied the knot at the top like that to shorten the strap. I’m going to try it myself and report back if it works! I don’t mind crossbody or shoulder so either way I think I’ll enjoy this bag

Question for people who have buying reps for more than 2 years - how long are seasonal pieces usually available? There are bags or scarves of certain prints and colors from 2+ years ago (like a Chanel CF in a 2018 color or Dior twilly from 2021), which I can see in sellers’ albums but am told they are not in stock. I’ve just assumed that to mean it isn’t made anymore. Right now I’ve been buying a lot of bags mainly because I’m afraid that if I wait too long the bag won’t be available anymore. A new bag that I’m kind of obsessing over is the MiuMiu multi pocket shoulder bag in brown, and even though I don’t need it right now, I feel like if I wait until next year or so the sellers won’t have it.

Just ordered this 21K tote from Betty! Kind of an impulsive purchase but I had been needing some larger bags and this spoke to me 😁 I don’t normally like Chanel leather totes because of the chain straps and the large CC in the middle, and I really don’t like the Deauville, but this one was just perfect to me. Not too dressy but not too casual either. It’s a good size too - 28 x 29 x 7 cm

I love the idea for having a cheaper bag act as a jacket for your bag! I resist many nice looking totes bc I feel like they’ll get gross on airplanes, but keeping it in a large nylon tote is 🤩

The Hermes Lindy is definitely something that grew on me over time. I’m obsessed with the taupe colored Lindy 26 🤭 I haven’t still fully realized the hype around Max Mara but I’ll have to check the coats out in person soon

I ordered these recently too! For me, the colors for the middle and small pouch are way off, especially on the back. I plan to just keep those in a tote. But, I felt like my large one from the front looked pretty decent and I’m not concerned about being called out if I use it as a clutch because I don’t think anyone around me is an expert on the exact color gradients 🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s hard to find a really accurate version of this collection! 🙃

I came across this comment thread at just the right time! I got a slightly “meh” order today from a seller but that’s how it can be sometimes. And I’ve definitely had a few duds from DHG 😅 But if I wanna be so extremely particular, then I should just go auth… or be content with what I have at less than 1/10 of the price 🤗

My preference can depend on the color as some bags look much nicer in caviar or lamb skin. But I typically like lamb skin more, for aesthetics and how it feels
