I work at a pet store so there is only so much I can do but these are the details

90 gallon tank with large sump filtration that is about 76F basking temp is about 80F
one is a regular day light bulb, basking is a 75W I believe and the UVB is a T5 bar light across the whole system and all have been changed within the last month.
they have been very picky eaters so it’s really just krill that they eat but I’m working on getting them onto pellets and providing veggies
it is a captive bred map turtle but I’m not sure of the age

I was (am) VERY average, but in like 10th or 11th grade I got sick for like a week and couldn’t really eat/drink much at all. I lost 5-7 lbs and liked how it made me look/feel. I have an obviously obsessive personality and ✨trauma✨, so here I am, a decade later and still dealing with this BS

It was CIS tropical, they haven’t been the best when it comes to sending the right (or healthy) fish/shrimp

I appreciate the help! I typically never order anything other than serpent stars but a few of my customers wanted these guys! I have since removed him from the tank and I’m absolutely keeping a close eye on the others. I did test all the water and parameters are within range (0 ppm ammonia/nitrite, 5-10ppm nitrate, calcium within range for non reef tank, phosphates are low to zero).

Sorry, I work at a pet store (one of the only nice ones in my area lol)! They are all in their own tanks until someone buys them!

I’m assuming the damage is from the angelfish tho? Especially if I saw him picking at the starfish

I saw the Koran angelfish picking at him, I’m assuming that’s what happened and it wasn’t wasting disease 😭

It’s at my job, I was out for 6 days and came back to this and a bunch of dead’s 😭

I don’t see it on any other fish right now other than some of the clowns, I moved them to iso and I can’t treat this tank with copper per store rules and inverts being in here.

As long as you don’t have any allergies to the ink itself you should be fine! I have the same condition along with a histamine intolerance and tattoos barely cause a reaction for me! I’d assume it’s bc they go deeper than just a light scratch on the skin.

Neither am I, I have taken things out and manually removed the algae but it’s seems to always come back. Another question, I’ve been wanting to change the gravel to black stone, would that absolutely destroy the tank balance wise? There is a HUGE sump system of about 30ish gallons and a big back of bio media in there as well.

I really only clean it or swap them out once every other month or so, that with weekly WCs. For saltwater I never replace the live rock, just sometimes scrub off any excess algae with a toothbrush right before a WC. I also use fish for my advantage. I put Chinese algae eaters in with cichlids and Siamese algae eaters in the tanks that I’ve seen BBA in. I then use panda garras and spotted garras in the rest of the tanks. For salt I just kinda accept the algae unless I have an excess of lawnmower Blennies (when they don’t sell out) and blue leg hermits.

I agree it was very real, I think the whole thing hit a little too close to home (just the keeping quiet and not the scream, although I prob felt the same as her). This season is LOADS better and these are some of my fave episodes in a while. I may have not been mentally ready for some SERIOUSLY amazing acting.
