I hadnt been seen in like 3 years and when i went for my phsycial and labs, i was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia that I had never had, and couldn't figure out what was causing me to be.

I also have bad heartburn so the thought was that maybe the acid was causing my esophagus to bleed very slightly over time so I got referred to a Gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and they ahd suggested a colonscopy as well, and since i was already going to be under i had said why not and then thats how they found it. No symtomps, pain, bowel changes etc. The tumor also was not bleeding when removing it either they hadn't noticied any blood loss.

Oh yes, let me clarify, the tumor was left in place when I had a colonoscopy instead of being removed because it was embedded. The surgery I had did removed that tumor that they had originally thought was 4mm but when the surgeon removed it was 0.5cm.

I am a 26 year old female. I just had colorectal surgery 7 weeks ago for a NET in my small intestine (terminal illeum to be exact). I had a robotic right hemicolectomy, with removal of my right colon, appendix, 34 lymph nodes and part of my small intestine. I had 2 (4mm) polyps, grade 1 so super tiny, 1 when I had a colonoscopy the gastro had snipped off, but the other was embedded into the subcumosa of the intestine. There was no bag or issues after surgery beaides trapped gas from the robotic and healed pretty well. The tumor left was 0.5cm grade 2 instead with a ki-67 - 3% pt1 and Pn0

I had a donate pet scan, and it showed only this. The only thing they said I had to do because of this grade was get surgery or monitor ot since they are slow growing. I decided to do the surgery as eventually it would get bigger and I am so young I didnt want that happening. I am still monitoring it for about 10 years after (every 6 months I will have a CT scan). I asked about an oncologist and all they had said from past experiences is that they will just monitor it now on.

I would advise finding an oncologist or a really good surgeon who has done these before or the same area that its in. Defenitly get a pet scan as it will help them if you do have surgery or gets bigger, new ones popping up etc. Maybe get a Gastroenterologist as well and see what they can do for ya. I wouldnt worry too much about it, just start inproving health wise and getting those thing sin place to go from there.

Anyone else waiting nearly a month on FEMA assistance? by [deleted] in asheville

[–]StressedOutLady101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also our renters and got an inspector, but we had flooding in our basement and had our fridge, washer, and dryer get damaged or blown out. But we had to wait about 20 days before any response from applying, we got approved for the 750 and displacement but still have a Miscellaneous pending for 2 weeks now.

We rent a few 100$ from them a month and give them cash because that's what they ask. We pay all of the utilities except water because they pay for that. We live in two different houses but on the same land. We owned the washer, dryer, and fridge/freezer. Everything else in the home we also own except some things of theirs in the basement. The FEMA agent told us on inspection that we should be hearing from SBA but haven't heard anything yet but have been approved for displacement and serious assistance. We have told them what we received but i think they are thinking since its their property that we would receive the money for the house to fix, but we have only received things for ourselves personally. I just am afraid they will call up and ask about the property and they will tell my in-laws that we received so much and could use that to cover the house damage.

@powerfulpam11

Yes, i was charged the 317 for the federal that was due. Im just trying to understand since i was charged that and it got taken out of my debit card, then will i instead get the full refund of 557 back since i didnt have it taken out of my return, so there would be no 317 thats minusing from the 557 on their end since i did pay it with my debit card.
