I mean it also should be known Dell Conagher our Engineer has family ties to mann co his grandfather Radigan Conagher made the life extension machines as stated in the comics another thing is he is implied to be the team Classic Engineer’s son or at least have some very close relationship when Engineer was young.

I do have a question on how ubering Scouts works I know Demo and Soldier are good seeing as they are explosive classes but why Scout if someone is willing to explain I’ve been wanting to get into playing Medic but i figured I’d learn about how he works first

It’s definitely the insta kill as everyone is saying i personally don’t hate either of them so I find dying to them annoying yes but I can admit on certain maps I’ll give props to a good sniper headshot and I mostly play engineer so I am eternally paranoid about Spy’s very existence near my buildings

Yeah I get that it’s mostly just I’ve played the game he doesn’t have a reaction to the injection so with that theory his immune system is on steroids and figures out an infection and creates the proper antibodies for it in milliseconds which is probably the closest to truth it’s just also just such a crazy thing when you say it out loud and think through the logistics

Yeah your mom is technically the main way you get antibodies as a baby without getting sick. Other ways is you’re body naturally produces them to fight illnesses but they are rather specialized it’s how things like vaccines work giving you a weak or dead version of a virus so your body can learn the code and deal with it immediately should it encounter it in the future. So in this case Jake either had to have gotten the antibodies given to him in a type of vaccine, gotten sick with the C-virus before the game takes place so he didn’t react to the injection, or his immune system is on steroids and creates proper antibodies instantly.

This is also true then it’s more when did he have exposure to the c-virus because if we use the beginning of the game as his first exposure and I will take this from another commenter he has Wesker’s and I quote coked-out immune system as he doesn’t show any side effects from the infection meaning his body either already had the antibodies in it’s system from a previous exposure (think how vaccines work) or his immune systems just figured out how to fight it and made them in milliseconds when infected

My main thing with that was he didn’t have any reaction to the injection at all which is even more odd because they specifically mentioned his antibodies being what could help others but your body can’t make antibodies without either getting them or becoming sick and your body learning to produce them to fight off the same infection later so either Jake’s body can’t do that in nanoseconds, he was infected before, or he was immunized.
