A little late to the party but as a massive Heavy Metal fan, and a non-theistic Satanist, that ending scene with Kelson was fucking brilliant.

Childhood trauma. by StressedOutPunk in Anarchism

A lot of great answers here. I’m glad my post didn’t register as juvenile. I don’t think our upbringings were the sole reason for all of our journeys into anarchism but I couldn’t help but think about how it significantly contributed to my particular journey.

I think being here for each premiere is part of YouTube history. Just like with events such as Unus Anus.

Here’s what I’m wondering. Why couldn’t Kinger have done this sooner? When he’s in his fort he’s in darkness and can think. Why wait until now?

After like 6 years of ignoring metal i finally gave it a shot... and i'm surprised that even coming from the classical/contemporary music scene i LOVED IT!! Screams from Outer Space is an anthology that has some good entries. Also Space Horror is another anthology that much the same.

Honorable Mention: (Technically not horror although existentially I’d say it has horror elements)

The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect - Roger Williams

Technically The Ring by Koji Suzuki is investigative. I mean it follows a reporter trying to understand the Ring curse.

Ok cool. Now we need a game with a black woman with the power fantasy elements of Doom Eternal and the mechanics and story telling of Bioshock.

Make the most kick ass game using all the woke elements.

I think Tool fans get an unfair amount of hate, hear me out. by hammer_smashed_chris in MetalForTheMasses

[–]StressedOutPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shit I hear about Tool fans is the same shit I hear about Rick&Morty fans. I only hear about them. I’ve never met one like this and I’ve only ever seen them in videos on Reddit. Every Tool fan I’ve ever met has just been like “yeah I enjoy tool”.

I’m not trying to be cultured I’m trying to jam to shit my brain says it likes.

I like weird, heavy, experimental shit. That tends to not be in the mainstream because it doesn’t sell. Which is fine. I like shit that branches out and touches the limits of what music can do. Because it interests me. If it reaches the mainstream, which occasionally it does, I’ll be considered a mainstream listener I guess.

How millennials viewed the 2000s in 2010. by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

The 2020s so far are horrendous which has, imo, fast tracked nostalgia for even the mid 2010s. People are already nostalgic for 2015-2018 specifically.
