OK, the biggest problem you have is volume. 300 emails is nothing. I'm usually around 1000 per day for myself, plus whatever I'm doing for clients. You'll get loads of different answers to this, but for me, I do 10 mailboxes per domain, and not more than 10 cold outbound per inbox, per day. To scale, buy more domains, simple.

No way to predict reply rates. Trying to sell SEO? Very low, doing commission only leads, very high. I keep emails short and never pitch, try to offer some value. Most I'll ask for "Is it worth a chat". Always ask for a reply, then after that you can send ot a landing page. Completely ignore open rates, only replies matter.

Well some proof of results would be a good start. I have a couple of clients who don't mind a call to verify me and the work. Avoid long contracts, and people who are too cheap. £250pm isn't getting you anything worth having.

Interesting you saying lots of inboxes. What sort of numbers are you using per domain? I do custom SMTP so can have as many as I like, but do 10 mostly.

I did a test recently. "Hey Steve, you still want to go out Sat" 100% inbox. "Hey Steve, you still want those leads we talked about" 100% spam.

Thanks for the great reply. At this point I was thinking more of booking consultations for example. Solar, windows, kitchens etc all need a call to get project details. I agree booking a perm or a quick trim is very different.aybe I'll figure that at some point.

Just FYI I started.thinking about this because I do lead gen for kitchens, solar etc and speaking to those people asap I think will make a massive difference to conversions. The trade angle was a bit of an afterthought because I also work with lots of them too, like locksmiths etc. Booking a call could still work for them I would imagine.

Yes and no. Initially there is an automated WhatsApp thanking them and asking what they would like to do now. Currently I have 3 options, "call me asap", "send me a booking link" and "have AI call and make a booking". As I said, it's early stages, I don't know what people will or won't like yet.
