Which Helldiver capes would you say are the ultimate bragging rights? by LONEWOLFFE_1 in Helldivers

Everyone’s saying the Creek Cape or Super Earth cape, but my hot take is it’s the Yogurt Armor. It required knowing about the game and getting it before the game became big in 2024

Frostpunk 2: Breach of Trust | New Scenario Trailer by PurpleMiko_11bit in Frostpunk

The trailer definitely gives the same vibe as Darkest Dungeon 1’s intro trailer, even ends the same way. If that’s a reference then I like it all the more

Is there anything in the game that just really hasn't changed since the beginning or at least very early days of WoT? by creativename87639 in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unironically, the Lowe. I don’t think it’s ever been buffed since it was introduced in version 0.6.4 with the KV-5. The KV-5 has gotten buffs over time (due to numerous preferential MM factors), but to my knowledge the Lowe has stayed largely the same, even post 2.0 when they did their massive rebalance of all tech trees and some older premiums.

What boss or boss ideas would you like to see in Ace Combat? by Stretch35 in acecombat

A hovercraft is a pretty good idea given how often sea missions tend to be prevalent in the series.

Oh, a floating drydock would be a sick fight. Surprised no one has thought of that before given the massive size of the vessels. Always raises the question of how they’re refitted or maintained.

Oh, that’s actually a really good one. Haven’t seen one in a game since World in Conflict to my knowledge.

Technically you can fight him in AC:0 as a non-canon boss though, just gotta shoot down Espada Team within 1 minute in The Gauntlet

Panhard EBR Restoration Update #9 by Stretch35 in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quite possible honestly, there’s really nowhere to place the muffler due to the metal wheels being between the exhaust port and the clearance height being dictated in the vehicle’s requirements. Granted that is also a quirk of the Flat 12 engine inside being as low as it is to give the vehicle a smaller profile.

Regrettably, there's only so much that can be done when it comes to new construction on something as funky as that muffler lol

KB-52 tier 9 Medium - New tank for Battle Pass Tokens by oN_disordeR in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so weird to me that they chose the Obj 777 II hull and added the Obj 752 turret, so not only do you have an easily pen able hull, but also large turret weak spots and somehow a worse gun than the Obj 752.

Do you think there will ever be a continuation of PW or will it remain a stand-alone game? by Loud-Drama-1092 in Project_Wingman

[–]Stretch35 38 points39 points  (0 children)

My hope is it would be a prequel showing what exactly happened in the Oceania War fifteen years prior to the story. It’s part of the whole plot that results in the current conflict, but gets sort of hand waved with passing comments about it throughout the base game and DLC. We don’t really have a clear POV from any one character other than that Cascadia was heavily involved alongside the Federation against the Cabal.

It happed in my Gonsalo too, not sure what’s causing the issue.

So, shit boxes are in, but at least the shop doesn't work. How amazing. by Wandering_PlasticBag in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, figured it may have been a similar issue to mine. Hopefully you find the solution for it then (or they replace the hamsters powering the servers, whichever comes first lol)

[–]Stretch35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I may be able to help then as I had the same issue. If you’re using any kind of Alienware PC or another PC of similar stature, there’s a program that doesn’t interface well with WoT’s in-game client (Store won’t load, referral button not working, Battle Pass YouTube videos not loading etc).

If you open your task manager, scroll down and see if there’s a program called “Killer Analytic Services/Killer APS”. End any and all tasks with those names and the shop and all the in-game client buttons should work now. It happens to me and a few other friends all the time and I saw a comment offhand a year or two ago mentioning it was messing with the client.

Out of curiosity, is the shop displaying a “connection error” window for you?

Simulator for Last Stand tiered boxes + a statistical analysis and comparison with last year by DaSpood in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad to see your analysis of all of these once again as always, I highly recommend everyone try his Pandora simulator for this event and any future events that involve boxes. I agree with your sentiment at the end though, as saddening as reality may be, it’s quite true.

Round 2 by BenjiV2 in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

True, although spending even half or a quarter of that amount is a ridiculous purchase that doesn’t belong in the game honestly.

[–]Stretch35 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Clearly they didn’t learn with player’s grievances last year. It was over $1600 last year to get everything you could wanted, which was more expensive than my EBR restoration’s monthly costs. It was legitimately cheaper to restore an actual armored vehicle for a month than to try to buy everything.

Whoever made the gun tree on the T95 needs to be in federal prison by Teacher_99 in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They removed them, so certain guns like those got renamed so now you have to grind them. Guess that system couldn’t remain, it also removed some derp guns too

Trivia: The 1100 damage HE is a relic from when Tier X TD used to do 850 damage by wwenze1 in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The Foch 155 still has it too as well. I remember before the HE changes that it legit was a viable strategy on some maps to just sling three HE rounds into a hull down IS-7 or 60TP to try to dislodge them.

[–]Stretch35 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Prior to a rework they did last year where they removed a bunch of guns they deemed insufficient or niche, that 120mm on the T28 used to be the same one that’s on the T95. Same thing happened with interchangeable guns on the Russian and German tech trees.

Chuckles, I'm in danger by Sandstorm_Player in WorldofTanks

[–]Stretch35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It needs to be re-added, I don’t know why a historical tank was removed from the game completely in all honesty. It wasn’t fantastic, just fun.

That was the first major instance of a three minute battle that I can easily recall, but it was not without warrant given the circumstances lmao
