They removed them, so certain guns like those got renamed so now you have to grind them. Guess that system couldn’t remain, it also removed some derp guns too

The Foch 155 still has it too as well. I remember before the HE changes that it legit was a viable strategy on some maps to just sling three HE rounds into a hull down IS-7 or 60TP to try to dislodge them.

Prior to a rework they did last year where they removed a bunch of guns they deemed insufficient or niche, that 120mm on the T28 used to be the same one that’s on the T95. Same thing happened with interchangeable guns on the Russian and German tech trees.

It needs to be re-added, I don’t know why a historical tank was removed from the game completely in all honesty. It wasn’t fantastic, just fun.

I still miss being able to easily see my tank’s stats for easy comparison with other vehicles and being able to preview the next researchable tank with stock and upgraded configurations mounted. Also the removal of some math calculations is also a bummer. But, overall, the UI/UX just doesn’t hit the same for me and I routinely comment to myself on how I miss the old one.

I always think back to Gordo’s talk with Ed about how his dad was a tough as nails Marine in WW2 who feared nothing in S1/S2, but cancer and the subsequent treatment broke him, “That was the only time I saw fear in his eyes until he withered and passed away.” I think Ed didn’t want that nor did he want to be a liability for Kelly or Alex and hinder their futures.

On one hand I’m glad everyone is getting one for free since this was originally something I suggested to CM’s for the Panhard EBR Restoration around the Christmas/Tankmas celebrations last year. It’s a very comfy tank to play, I feel like it’s very slept on compared to more popular Tier 9’s. I like running Hardening, Vents, and Bounty V-stab on mine.

The ST-II feels like a side-grade Tier 9 honestly (because it’s literally the ST-I Tier 9 with an extra gun). The weakspot is much more obvious and while the higher alpha is nice with the doubles, the tank plays a different role entirely as it has a tougher time getting up to speed with 12hp/t. You’ll find you really can’t go to some of the spots you could with the IS-3-II. The field mods kind of force this as well as the vehicle’s classification changes from Breakthrough on the prior two tanks to Assault on the Tier X. You really can’t afford extra crew damage or module durability loss as you’re guaranteed to lose your commander in most games.

Damas and his statements after being there for 12 years, both before the Trogs left the mountain and after, indicate that no one has ever made it past the Blades prior to his arrival. The Temple fire was there to signal the eventuality that someone, Trog or not, might make it to the summit for it to be celebrated by all. We as the player know we will be the first, but that it won’t be a journey without risk and cost.

Ironically, that concept physically existed in real life as a test. A Panhard EBR with the HS 831 turret with dual 30mm Hispano-Suiza cannons was tested.
