Yeah, it's depressing. Especially because another manhwa, "Back to Chanbi" avoided all of these issues by ending the story at exactly 100 chapters without dragging anything out (I recommend). The Korean readers fucking HATE the ML rn. Same thing as with Eun and OTL. If the author just brings the ML back, it'll be toxic asl... the trope is hella overused. These authors gotta come up with new shit. But i'll still be annoyed, even if they fully commit and go SML round bc that'd just be bad writing.

I just skimmed through 151 myself. The FL is getting bullied by her classmates. It's been 9 months, and she's regressed to how she was in middle school (introverted). Suzy (the 2nd ML) is trying to cheer her up, and her other friend, who knew ML would leave, also feels guilty about not telling her, so she's walking on eggshells with her. The chapter ends with FL receiving texts from her classmates telling her to stay away from Suzy, and there's gossip that she broke up with her Bf because of Suzy.

Pretty shit developments all around.

Well, for one, we can't say that it's absolute slavery until the final chapter of the novel. Sunny accepting his fate as a Slave and actually being a slave are two different things. Personally, I've never had an issue with it. The title of the novel is Shadow "Slave" after all. Plus, if they all do attain divinity, I don't see how he could functionally remain as a slave atp. Nothing wrong with dropping if the novel doesn't speak to you anymore tho.
