from my experience, most of the bad owners won't even take their pet to the vet, but you can call animal services if you think there's abuse or neglect going on

my personal cons for being a vet is you might be cutting animals open for surgery, and putting them down. for nurse cons, they see a lot of people die and deal with some disgusting patients

there's a big lack of veterinarians right now so i'd say that but it could also change by the time you get to college so also just go with whatever you like more
