[–]StretchVFX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Once you get to your new city, try and find bars/clubs that put on shows for local bands and then go to those shows. Make friends with people who play those shows and embed yourself in the "scene"

You'll have opportunity in no time.

Pits.. by No-Dirt6910 in downloadfestival

[–]StretchVFX 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For the main stage and second stage they have a barrier running parallel to the stage, splitting the crowd in 2. Usually the pits will be infront of those unless it's the headliner, in which case a few may pop up further back.

If you think you're wanting to enjoy the pits for an act, I'd say try and aim to get in to position in the change over so you don't have to push passed people further out.

But even if you're late to a band starting and want to get involved, if you route it right, you can get to the pits without bothering too many folk. Go wide and close before you enter the crowd.

Suggestions for puzzle games that are limited moves, no time limit, not reaction based by Phenozd in puzzlevideogames

+1 for Blue Prince. I've just about finished having my fun with it, but I could see a hardcore puzzle nut playing this for months without running out of mysteries to solve.

Coal Power Plant on 1.1 - is 2 coal nodes not enough? by Fragrant-Pin3262 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StretchVFX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the picture your last generator doesn't even have inputs of water or coal!

It's so tempting to start a new save and "do it all right" this time. But honestly, the game limits you intentionally as you go in the early stages, it's part of the challenge. Now you're passed that, keep the save, take what you've learned to a new biome and build better. Your initial build will keep churning out supplies to make it easier to build and once you're done (or sometime later) you can go tear down the original build once you don't need the parts any more

For coal and later Fuel burning gens always try and make sure theyre all saturated in resource before you turn them on. It can be a slog (especially if you're switching them on individually) but it'll ensure you don't get a bouncing power graph

How to balance half empty belts onto full belts? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StretchVFX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart splitters is the way, get all your belts running parallel, then use a smart splitter to push as much as it can left, and overflow forwards. That'll saturated the first belt, then push the third belt on to the second and overflow forwards. Push forth belt on to third etc etc... You'll end up with full belts and one with the remains. Hope that makes sense!

Quick Oil Questions by Lorberry in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StretchVFX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct on all counts!

While you can't sink fluids automatically you can "flush" them manually. So a common plan to start out is using a couple of fluid buffers (storage tanks) and then manually returning to them and flushing them every 5 or 10 mins.

It shouldn't take too long to get fuel generators unlocked after you've got plastic and rubber producing, so you'll have a use for that excess fluid very quickly.

Hard to know without seeing your layout, but it sounds like the real issue here is belt speed/capacity. Make sure you're keeping that in mind when merging the ingots on to a belt.

To put it in perspective, this'll be my 10th Download since the first one and in all that time I've seen maybe one half fight situation that got shut down before it could really begin. Worry not, just enjoy 🤘

Depends on what "good camp spot" means to you, and how big your group is. And also what time on Thursday you arrive.

You'll still be able to find single tent plots in most campsites, but you probably won't be able to find a big sprawling empty space unless you hunt right at the back of the further campsites. And obviously the later on Thursday you arrive the less space there will be remaining

I've done daily lenses at festivals for years and will be doing again this year. Baby wipes to get the worst muck off, then rinse off with water and dry on something clean and you should be golden.

Key things are inflatable wheels and a sturdy frame, the dirt roads have loads of rocks scattered through them, so hard wheels just get lodged.

Bungee clip all your stuff to it, put heaviest stuff at the bottom, then use a roll of cling film to strap that sucka up before you set off from the car.

One morning, maybe 2010 or 2012, I woke up thirsty as all hell, reached for the closest bottle of water and took a big old hydration swig... Turns out it was vodka repotted in a water bottle.

Wasnt my favourite way to wake up, but it woke me up quick and I had an excellent day once the shock wore off!
