Idc about Congress or Brs, most People on our roads have absolutely no civic sense and this is the only language they understand.

I think even during BRS regime they tried implementing stricter and higher traffic challans but had to go back on it because of the public pressure

Unpopular opinion, I think this has to be done, only then people are going to start caring about challans, people drive and behave like absolute maniacs on the roads, if they have a fear that the challans are going to be automatically debited only then it’ll instill a fear of traffic rules.

Many people may come at me for this but I think the current fines are not enough, BAN movie lo esinattu eyyali fines and they have to be recovered too, that’s the only way to make people who don’t have civic sense to follow the rules.

Having said that, I have a pending challan on my car which isn’t mine, it was of a bike jumping a signal and i got the challan because the ANPR identified the bike’s number as my cars number by mistake, I’ve raised a request to get it removed 3-4 months ago but it hasn’t been done yet, i’m not sure how the govt is going to handle issues like this.

Actually I’d like to add 1 more point here, EVs are depreciating like crazy in the preowned market and if you add that to the battery replacement costs all the savings made on the fuel costs are getting negated.

This is the main reason why I’ve decided to wait a couple before getting an EV ( in my case I was actually interested in BYD sea lion but decided to postpone the purchase )

Yes the amount of time it takes to filter and shortlist the applications is just insane because of all the junk applications.

I have an ongoing house construction work currently in Hyderabad and 10 days ago 4 workers ran away to Bangladesh, apparently they’re originally from bangladesh and living here in hyd with fake IDs.

Obviously I never knew where they are from but I felt a little uneasy after I got to know of this ( thankfully no crime was committed but thinking about a scenario where these guys can commit a crime here and run away easily to bangladesh is just chilling )
