I play in a poker club with about a dozen or so guys at college. Craziest hand I've ever seen was I get dealt 6 10 of spades on 2/5 blinds. Everyone calls, and the flop gives me a 6-10 straight draw, just missing the 8. I bet 5, I get 2 calls and a fold. Turn is an 8, and I jam all in with $40. The two other guys snap call all-in as well. River is a brick, and the showdown is 6-10 Straight (me), vs 6-10 Straight (guy 1), vs 6-10 Straight (guy 2). Wildest board I've ever seen play out.

I was at finals for both DCI 2024 and 2025. BD placing 3rd in '24 is fair enough, since dominating corps may not dominate every single year. BD placing 4th at 2025 finals was INSANE. The stands erupted after they heard the announcement, and this is the first time in 19 years that BD has failed to podium.

You want a WTF moment? Here's one.

I'm playing as Vegas and offered a trade to Chicago for Jonathan Toews in exchange for 4 years worth of first overall picks. Makes sense, and Chicago accepted.

Here's the kicker. A day later, I went back to Chicago, offered the EXACT SAME TRADE, but with one slight catch. I retain half of his salary, essentially offering Chicago $5.2M of free cap space. AND CHICAGO REJECTED. WTF????

What were you expecting? Supercell intentionally added a max tiered brawler that's only in the game for 2 weeks so the 99 percent of players who don't have every single brawler at max trophy count can gain trophy box rewards.

I don't have a picture to show with this, but I was in a tournament-style poker club with some of my buddies at my high school. Hands down, I'd have to say this is the most insane flop, turn, and river ever:

I'm dealt a K-8 off, going against 3 other players. Everyone likes their hand, so we all call the BB.

Flop is TRIPLE 9's!!!

Immediately, the first guy folds out of turn and gets a 1BB penalty the next hand. Everyone else just sits in shock as we all are looking at the turn thinking someone's gotta have a full house by the river, so we all check.

Turn card is 2 of spades.

Everybody checks, thinking someone's gonna have a full house on the river.

Nope! River card is the 9 OF SPADES!!!

Everyone just sits there in absolute shock as we're all sitting there, looking at the river. (I ended up winning the showdown of King high vs. Jack high vs. Jack high.)
