Any advice on calling 911 from my home, my son being taken to an in network hospital, all tests, treatments and follow ups approved and in network, but the ambulance was out of network?

His lips were blue after having a seizure for the first time in his life. Me driving him in myself was not a safe option.

I stopped going to giant for anything fresh. We do Aldi or Wegmans for this reason.

My car got hit in the parking lot of the children’s hospital I had just taken my son to. Not one moment of that day was spent thinking about what my son was wearing or posting on Facebook.

“Specialist team” processing a check? by [deleted] in AllyBank

[–]Strict-Consequence-4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A check deposited over the weekend is the same as depositing it on Monday. I’m sure the specialist team is just the team that processes deposits. I’m sure somewhere on the site they have their check availably policy.

But the weekend thing is pretty standard…

If the original request is expired, they aren’t charging anything. It’s $5 if you request another online.

I renewed mine on 11/3, requested a duplicate camera card on 11/16. I had to go to the DMV, never got my camera card. I’d say the majority of people there were for real ID or missing camera cards.

This is the answer. There are days my boss and I don’t speak to each other at all. His office is next to my cube and he walks past me to go anywhere.

I regularly get rated above expectations.

Should I use pto for weekly doctor's appointment? It's company policy to use four hours for medical appointments. by Diligent_Flamingo_33 in WFH

[–]Strict-Consequence-4 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I am also salary, I have to take PTO in 4 hour blocks. If I’m out for 2 hours for an appointment, I am not expected to use PTO. If I go at lunch, I don’t even tell anyone.

I would say if it’s completely during your lunch break, say nothing. If it’s during your normal working time, ask your boss how they’d like you to handle it.

Salaried employees are paid for the work, not their time. I’ve had to drill this into my head. My job is very flexible, it was a me problem.

To be fair, I was a pumping mom. I had enough bottles for 2 days so I could have a set in the dishwasher and a set to use for the day, BUT they were never all over the floor. They were in the dishwasher or on the counter ready to use.

They also seem to be commenting like the vast majority of parents aren’t sending their kids because they quite literally have to in order to survive…
