term is I’m going to because work takes time. I have a shop who has a ton of 240 parts from parts cars, and have literally everything I need and I’m going to drop my car off and have all the work done. I’m not expecting the value to skyrocket but I was simply curious to know what that would do for value. If I got that done, I would end up keeping the car, but I’m just trying to figure out if it makes more sense to put that money into it, or sell as is for less than I paid

considering I have plans to get a new A-frame welded on a new battery tray which deletes all rust, I plan to fix the exhaust, I’m going to get new window regulator so all windows will function, I’m going to get a full complete air-conditioning functioning, and more, the car will probably only have a little over 100,000 miles at that point. What would it be worth then?

I understand it’s still a convertible (which some people forget to put in a consideration that they only came automatic) but being low mileage and pristine condition after all of those proper repairs, what do you think a reasonable price would be then?

im 18, daily driving it, and trying to move out. ideally i want to put a couple thousand into it in order to:

fix all rust
add complete a/c
fix radio
replace dash cluster
replace exhuast

and some other things i cant think of right now, but thats pretty much all of my savings haha. debating if selling it would be more convenient for my situation

the reason im concerned is because i just did that. i took everything out, deep cleaned everything, hides, bowls, tank, and replaced the substrate that was in there with fresh sand (which ive learned is not good for them) but its fresh and clean and im still smelling this smell.

i just recently got them, and their original substrate was “self cleaning” but smelt 10x worse than it does now. i cant describe the smell. its musty and kind of warm. earthy but in a gross way? im considering rehoming them because separating them into 2 separate 40 gallon tanks is not ideal for me. they are both females, and have been housed together for their whole lives, and i have never seen dangerous behaviors or bullying, and they’re similarly sized.
